Pretty much. Dandy was an amazing anime. The current arc of One Piece is even more amazing.

I like AOT as much as I dislike it. I'd definitely watch more. It's stupid and sometimes compelling. It's dub wildly vacillates from too much to pretty moving. It goes from deadly boring to heart stoppingly interesting.

Bleach doesn't win a music category because Space Dandy exists. Dandy's got a way more memorable and varied soundtrack, all I remember about Bleach's is Spanish guitar. Very good Spanish guitar, but just Spanish guitar. Dandy's soundtrack was standout.

Really Dandy should sweep almost every category in a year's best of.

YEAR IN FILLER REVIEW:

2014 Was a down year in filler. Inuyasha got cancelled before the glory part of its filler. Bleach had one filler arc and one canon arc that was basically filler. Shippuden only had a handful of filler episodes and they were among the worst things on the block. Soul Eater's Filler ending, which began the year, was hated by all. Blue Exorcist also had a filler ending. Naruto Uncut ended before its filler began, with only one filler episode shown! Titan's filler was nothing special.

So now time for awards.

I'd say it was a combination of getting pushed back to a later time slot, the mature subject matter, and BL not being a traditional shonen like the majority of the block.
