Let's see if they air the real Gurren Lagann episode 6. If they can get away with that, Kill la Kill is safe.
For reference, what did Sci-Fi do?

It was the censored version, which is essentially a recap episode.

So for reference what is the normal episode 6?
Why didn't you have it? Someone had to borrow it or it had to be repaired?
the charging port broke and it's been being repaired for a while now.
Don't be jelly, Rock. There's always Revy.
Still happy that Benny got some.
Hey man sometimes a mission just doesn't use Rock's particular skillset. it happens!
Where is that big balls Rock I used to know?
Its okay, the finale is next Sunday though, so you might want to try to make it.
Sunny Vale though? I thought Usopp's English voice was by Sonny Strait?
Nah Rock basically "got" Revy after that moment seeing how nobody else stood up/handled her like that besides Dutch (who as her employer wasn't gonna let that shit fly). She becomes alot more overprotective and territorial (when other chicks come around) after that. Pretty sure if can get to third base if he wanted too or already has.
Side note glad to see GL on the block, it feels like it would be a good opening, something around the 1130 to 1230 time slot.
Seda has an interesting family

Cowboy Bebop confirmed.
Damn. Well I guess it would be the 2 or 230 spot then. Would have made a good opening but it is what it isSadly the aniplex slot for better or worse will always be 1:30-2:30 depending on the big shonen shows above it. Plus being later in the night might help them get away with more of the t&a scenes
God, 2am-3am is just going to be death...
Only for a month, then GL will save us. Supposedly BtB gets a lot better in the episodes that didn't air in the US for what its worth

I'll believe it when I see it. GL will make for an awesome power hour right near the middle of the block with OP just now hitting Enies Lobby.

The first few episodes of the series are a bit bland, particularly when compared to the last twenty years of consistently amazing Batman animation. The CGI is stilted and sterile at times, and it gives the impression that Gotham City is the least populated metropolis in history.
Where the animation does succeed, however, is in action sequences. The fluidity of combat is amazing to watch, its just that when things slow down for character development, the characters suddenly become mannequins.
The real showcase of the set is Toxic, an emotional high for the series that finds Batman squaring off with the misunderstood Metamorpho. This is the real turning point for the series, progressing itself toward the sort of mature storytelling that Batman: The Animated Series has become so beloved for. From this episode on, the series starts to build upon itself in a significant way, ultimately revealing a larger season arc involving Lady Shiva and Ras al Ghul. Unfortunately, this arc isnt resolved.
If you can get past the initial shock of the aesthetic changes in animation and the slow burn nature of the character relationships, Beware the Batman is a very entertaining glimpse into a potentially fantastic show loaded with potential. Heres hoping it gets a chance to live and make good on that potential.
I'm curious, who else besides me hasn't seen Gurren Lagann?
Seems like DeMarco is getting a bit of flak for airing an 'old' show that 'all but five people' have seen. As someone who has played more PSX/PS2 games in the last 3 years than anything else (as an example), I never truly care about how 'new' something is. Now I know he always gets complaints but it prompted my curiosity.
I know some of you guys are the hardcorest of anime/cartoon fans but I was wondering who I'm sharing this newbie boat with.
