Toriko is proof positive that you really can't push something on people when they don't really want it, no matter how good you are at marketing similar hits.
Shokugeki no Soma totally beats Toriko in terms of cooking anime/manga.
....Toriko IS a cooking series, right?

Oh so basically One Piece right now. It's more of an action series where the opponents are a mix of humanoids with weird powers and wild animals.
Too bad Toriko can't cook up an audience.

EDIT: Oh god, why did you have to remind me? It had finally slipped my mind! Iwata
You mean Iwata's passing?
Holy cow. I can't even believe it's real even after seeing all of the articles and videos about it.
I thought he was fully recovered after his surgery a few months ago, but....wow.
It's a big blow for Nintendo and the gaming industry, that's for sure.

Well, Sailor Moon Crystal seems to be locked up with Hulu for the foreseeable future. But don't forget JoJo.Probably, though at this point with Sentai in the mix and all 4 companies having upcoming shows that are probably coming (Funimation has Tokyo Ghoul, Viz has Sailor Moon Crystal, Sentai has Ushio & Tora, Aniplex has F/SN UBW) along with their back log which all 4 have shows that could easily be Toonami bound if we look back to shows that have aired in the past 5-7 years and are now dubbed.
