I've never encountered this problem myself, somehow.

Yugioh is probably the only one remotely close, but I joined at a pretty good time, and card games by nature need community discussion.

I used to be into redlettermedia, but both the channel and the fandom made me look to greener pastures.

As for the Steven Universe fandom...never in my life have I ever ment "now's not the time, guys" more seriously than before.

The less people you have in a community, the better, since new people can get an idea of what the community standards are like and tone themselves down, and it's easier for the mods to handle without being overwhelmed.

So this thread's fine because we have like, what, less than two dozen frequent posters? And it's not like it's easy to join GAF in the first place.

TRIGUN - EPISODE SEVEN - B.D.N.

Chug Chug Chug

Vash can put down some beer. Milly has a separate stomach for cake and ice cream, must have been a hard Splatfest for her. The mayor of the town...got Vash two prostitutes. He pretended to be passed out though he might have regretted it. Vash is leaving on the steamship. Milly and Meryl don't have enough money to buy tickets. The kids follow the Steamship as far as they can and Vash makes Thomas promise to be good to his mom. Everyone misses Vash who is free at last. So he proceeds to vomit off of the side of the ship. One of the staff tries to talk him into taking on the job of chief of security, so he can charge double for the second leg of the trip which goes through the lair of the notorious Brilliant Dynamites Neon or some such. I'm sure it doesn't come up again. Vash says no and is finally alone.

Scary Vash.

For about a minute before this kid pops into his life. This kid was seen last episode looking for work by the way and is now back to stowing away on the Steamship. He gives an awfully fake sounding story about an abusive grandmother and creepy uncle who is always trying to molest him.

Vash has two weaknesses, sob stories and women.

More extended members of the Armstrong family.

Of course Vash bought it. Speaking about buying stuff he heads over to the Kiyosk to find two familiar faces working there. Anyways Vash buys a literal grocery bag full of food for around 12 double dollars, which means there isn't any weird yen like chop off the last two zeroes thing going on. So Vash's bounty really is around 60 BILLION DOLLARS. I mean sure, 600 million sounds like a lot but its not that out of range considering how much Bin Laden went for and considering what Vash is truly wanted for, which is the complete destruction of July. Milly thinks he bought enough to feed a growing boy and Vash is scared just how perceptive the bigger one is, his only saving grace being she has no idea how talented she truly is. Anyways he now has a cabin in First Clas.

Yoink

Did not see this one coming.

This kid is kind of a little shit. Scratch that, he spiked Vash's drink. Oh wait I guess it was gas. He's a major douchebag. Is this secretly Baccano? He's got one more canister of gas left and not much time. Out in the darkness of the canyon some neon lights can be seen.

This was right around the time Buggy was introduced. Flashy was in baby.

This guy knows how to party.

Explosions.

Oh the kid is working with the B.D.N crew. He gave the signal right on time for the bandits to attack. The Bad Lads Gang they are called, and they took out the escort right quick. Also the main cannons on the Steamship are down. They've awoken a sleeping giant however.

This is pretty great.

SOUND LIFE

So the defenders are taken out at basically every choke point, their intel must have been sound. It was the kid...wait of course it was the kid. Vash dreams about a song sung by a woman named Rem. She chides Vash that he needs to grow up. Probably won't be important or anything. He sheds a single tear as he wakes up to find a BLG member searching his room, luckily it's dark. B.D.N. is not satisfied with the quality nor quantity of the loot from the gathered passengers. There's a reason for it, the good stuff is stored in a gigantic Scrooge McDuck sized vault. Problem is, no one on the ship can open it, the key is in the city. So BDN is just going to split the ship in two, no problem. He's going to pilot the ship off of a ledge and loot it later. Very flashy. Milly and Meryl don't have the firepower needed to combat this gang. Vash is crawling through some tiny air vents. The pilot tries to stop the ship and BDN fills him full of lead, admiring his spunk. He summons the still unnamed kid who knows the ship better than anyone to see if he can take over piloting. He has no such experience himself but throws a bunch of technobabble out that the captain clearly recognizes as something this kid shouldn't know. B.D.N. informs him of the change of plan and this clearly wasn't part of the bargain. The kid loves this ship despite letting these goons rob it! I think you know where this is going. The kid gets chokeslammed for not being beautiful; you make a deal with the bad guys and you need to prepare for them to do heinous shit. He coughs up a tooth!

Chokeslam...Big Boot? Is the Powerbomb next?

Big Boot! B.D.N. clearly doesn't understand match flow unless he is going to drop the leg next. The kid is plucky though, this ship was his father's ship! (Surprising absolutely no one) B.D.N. doesn't give a shit and sticks his gun right in the kid's teeth (excellent sound effects here of metal on teeth) and now the gun is in his mouth.

B.D.N. is out of options, but the captain has a choice. Bring the ship back up to speed or he'll kill this lovely young lady. He laughs manically as the captain is forced to bring the ship up to speed.

But the real heroes have yet to reveal themselves.

Now explain the Naruto thread.

Now explain the Naruto thread.

Shipping can drive people to madness, especially when it's stretched out over years and years with no real movement to prepare them for the end result.

That thread was the end result of Kishi not handling the romance sub-plot of Naruto properly. Had he done so there would have been no gigantic meltdowns.

So you start out Prey will a really tiny inventory system.

So, even tho I don't need to heal, I'm often just shoving food job my gob in that comical videogame way.

It effectively did it's job then. That movie has the creepiest practical effects. The sequel using CG couldn't capture the same grotesque horror.

The sequel was a really lame by the books horror film.

The Thing still holds up great today.

I don't know, it was clear to anyone who was paying attention what the result would be two years before the manga ended. That it was still the second most pushed manga thread here two years AFTER the manga ended is just nuts on top of that.

I feel sorry for anybody that has Sakura as their waifu worth defending.

The Thing, Robocop, Predator, Alien, Blade Runner and Aliens have aged like fine wine.

It took too long for him to get there, it allowed people's perceptions to settle in long before that point.

It was obvious to me who Naruto should end up with since before the pain arc....
people who thought sakura was gonna get with Naruto were just in denial

The original Halloween and The Shining are also some of the great classic horror films that hold up well.

When Halloween comes around I'll probably start rewatching most of them and try out some newer horror films with a good reputation.

the most famous person i've ever met is Zach Callison
the voice of Steven from SU
https://comiccon2017.sched.com/event/BSQj/steven-universe

Also: https://comiccon2017.sched.com/event/BSUp/duck-tales This seems too good of a line up to not have some ticket system. Something is up.

https://comiccon2017.sched.com/event/BP8N/world-premiere-of-batman-and-harley-quinn I would imagine Bruce Timm and Kevin Conroy would be the only ones where even the most cynical would want to see this panel.

Don't you get it they're both from prestigious clans so obviously they'll get in an arranged marriage and grow to love each other over time
/s
I do find it weird how none of the high ranking tribes did arranged marriages in that show. All of that bloodline and Kekaigenkai blood jutsu calculation talks would've been interesting.

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Maybe all those letters I sent Dark Horse had an effect after all. They finally put out a digital version of the Berserk manga!
