"Well, there was Pushmo & Dillon's Rolling Western & Sakura Samurai & Rusty's Real Deal Baseball..."

"OH THOSE DON'T COUNT CUZ THEY'RE DIGITAL ONLY"

"There's Xenoblade and Wonderful 101 and..."

"THOSE DON'T COUNT BECAUSE NOT IN-HOUSE DEVELOPED"

"But Fire Emblem isn't in house developed"

"LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU"

can't keep up with overwatch? what game this gen has kept up with overwatch
gtaV doesn't cound because it's last gen

Saw Spider-Man last night. It's gud.

Also, is Castlevania technically anime?

Made by American directors, American producers, written by an English writer, directed by american animators (probably with Korean key and tweeners though), for an American (technically international) audience.
If it's anime, pretty much any animated show is.
For sure it's anime inspired though.
Good show. Awesome intro (which they never fucking reuse, lol). Shame about the length.

gotta say though nintendo has been knocking it out of the park in terms of designing new characters lately...
a few designs in xenoblade 2 aside

You this is probably me just being tired and nothing thinking straight but i just started reading Beastars and................................
I thinking i'm starting to understand zootopias.........popularity

...never heard of it. is it the same reason sonic is popular with certain segments of the population
not that I have any problem with that

I just watched Castlevania.

It's way to short and it has some wonky pacing, but it's pretty good for a video game adaption. It could have been way worse.

I thought Billy and Mandy was alright, probably wouldn't like it as much today, heh. Never got into Evil Con Carne.

What's up with the audio mix in the first episode of Castlevania? There were some scenes where I could barely understand what the Bishop and Dracula were saying.

Besides that, this was damn good. Too few episodes for the first season and too long of a wait time for the next one.

You know, it kind of sense for a non-broadcast medium to treat seasons more like volumes divided into episodes, since you don't have to air an episode weekly.

Would be a neat direction for Netflix and co. to go in.

So Netflix will take over after the HxH anime finishes its current run and then release 4 episodes every year? I can live with that.

Netflix presents the Hunter x Hunter live action adaptation!

Alongside the BBC Masterpiece Theater adaptation of Phantom Blood.

I'll have to invite my friend over to log into his netflix account for us to watch the Castlevania show.

One of these days, I might give in & get Netflix for myself, but the last time I borrowed someone's account, I just got overwhelmed by the selection, decided "meh, I don't know what to watch now" & did something else.

If Netflix does a live action HxH it should start as a kids show... and then....

Tonight, Masterpiece Theater presents the first installment of a five part series, the BBC adaption of Phantom Blood: a story of the dramatic rivalry of two young men in late 1800's England, a noblemen and his adopted brother, which gets thrust into the supernatural thanks to a bizarre stone mask. Enjoy.
And then some old ladies watch Jack the Ripper burst out of a horse.

Someone should give Lin Manuel Miranda a copy of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The oraoraora song will floor you.

You know, Gon and Killua are younger than the age rating Hunter x Hunter usually gets.

Seeing how Killua's family life is, I don't think he'd have too many problems being allowed to watch it. Poor Gon wouldn't even be able to watch it though*.

*On the other hand, his aunt did let him take part in a competition where people regularly die.

I mean aside from the whole Assassin upbringing I'm sure his brother showed him all kinds of weird HxH anime.

There is a scene in Homecoming that so feels like "I don't wear hokey pads" went full circle.

I'm amazed I manage to laugh as quiet as i did during that scene.

There's a filler moment in the 1999 anime where Killua watches either porn or an R-rated movie at a Yorknew Hotel they stay at, sneaking it past Leorio as he searches for Kurapika & asking Gon to come join him
