Basically a combo of

1- Attack on Titan reruns at 11:30 under performing
2- The December movie month under performing
3- Losing the rights to several back half shows like Titan, Clone Wars, Batman, etc
4- Due to 3, ratings in the back half dropped due to the same shows airing over and over
5- Not enough budget to get new shows for the back half of the night



Also Funimation once again showed how much better they are at Viz in terms of localization with their handling of Assassination Classroom and the character of Bitch-Sensei. Viz's manga release calls her Ms. Vitch so that they can change the name to Ms. Bitch which is dumb/lame/boring. Funimation's simuldub calls her Jelavić which is not only a real name, but due to its pronunciations flows extremely well into the JelaBitch pun in a natural way.
