Yeah I'm interested in vr but I don't want it to be meaningful vr and not bloodborne in surround sound/vision
What happens when they port 15 year old JRPGs to it tho
I'm excited. PSVR came in at a reasonable enough price that I'll be getting one. Should be cool and I think I'm just as interested in the "experiences" as the actual games. The idea of just exploring other places or seeing the world from different perspectives intrigues me.
I did until I remembered price errors and clearances.
The fact I got a non fraud 3DS XL for $60 via sears and could have done it with a wii u and got an xbone for all but free with that laptop glitch the other week makes actually buying expensive things seem like a really hard justification.

On another note, I just discovered that someone I know on here is a Republican. I'm...not sure what to think really.
Speaking of which, Demarco is not the best when it comes to politics.

Though being a white dude in GA makes it fairly likely he's just a straight Republican.
I honestly do not care about anyone's political leaning and am good friends with people I would never, ever want their political views to be the same as those in power.
Worse, politically apathetic, going politics are dumb and stupid and such on Twitter.
I myself became real jaded on politics a few years back, but I still voted locally. There's no point in voting on anything higher than that in my state, save for one absolute boondoggle of a senatorial election.
Still better then believing it to be the domain of stupid people alone.
Kind of got over my jaded phase a long while ago when I saw what happens when inaction is sold as action.
I'd probably care more if I lived in a district with any competition for the state senate or congress. I've never voted for anyone different until Kennedy died and Kerry became SoS. I've had the displeasure of voting for the same shitty candidate twice who couldn't win a contested election if she tried despite being annointed both times, but everything else in MA politics is crazy predictable outside of certain ballot initiatives. Town referendums are much more exciting.

I...actually liked Super Android 13 a lot more than I thought I would. The pacing is great since it keeps bringing in new wrinkles to the action without lingering on one for too long, though I think it lacks a standout moment action-wise beyond the ending Spirit Bomb (which is actually awesome, to be fair). Though I think most of my enjoyment of Super Android 13 actually comes from the dub because it's completely ridiculous; Funimation gave 13 an over-the-top redneck accent and gave everyone some of the best lines in any of these movies so far, and the results are hilarious.

Life has taught me that politics is a topic I should stay out of because nobody can just "agree to disagree" & I just don't care for the most part. Not to mention nobody wins because people want someone elected, then they whine about how they're not doing what they promised if elected.

So I've been taking an anime walkabout recently having started a funimation account after mooching off of a friends for about a month.
First step, watch a lot of dubbed One Piece. Was buying the DVDs as they got cheap anyways but this was quicker and cheaper.
Second step, watch prison school's dub.
Third step, watch Fairy Tail from where Netflix left off. FT is a great show to watch while playing portable rpgs, I tell you what. Decent show to fall asleep to as well.
Fourth step, weird ass shit like Wanna be the strongest in the world, which was uncensored! Watched a few episodes of Erased and some older stuff like Slayers, which got me in the mood to re-read it. Might watch Space Dandy or some Kenichi later.
This is the anime sub for me. Tons of dubs, some of some suspect subject matter. Crunchyroll is great and all when I needed to watch something hot off of the presses but I prefer dubs a lot of the time. Hulu is pretty great for Viz stuff but when it comes to dubs they're not the most consistent.

For new stuff and legally yes, in terms of bulk netflix/hulu may have them beat.
They just dropped new mobile apps, which hopefully fixes my biggest complaint about their service- shitty mobile apps and terrible console apps. Unfortunately I have an old AppleTV so I can't check their new app for that out, but I'm probably gonna subscribe again for some Assassination Classroom S2 dub down the line. If you like dubs, it's a really good service, but hard to recommend unless you planned on watching on a computer

It absolutely has Netflix beat dead to rights on dubbed stuff. Probably beats Hulu as well, which has almost all of the old Neon Alley stuff with some of the funimation back catalog as well.
Hulu probably has more total shows with dubs on there but many are incomplete.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised Funimation isn't getting the original cast back, but It's still a little bit sad.
I'm so happy to hear the new apps are good! The content on the service is great, and it deserves a strong delivery platform
Also, got the FMA 03 Blu-ray today (because I forgot Punpun manga was out today, wanted same day delivery, and needed to hit $35 to make it free). It's been going up in price ever since the Brotherhood license loss was announced- it was $28 when I added it to my wishlist a few months ago, and I paid almost $38 for it today. The fear is real, I guess
That said, everyone should buy Punpun.
