From a press release about Toonami's 20th anniversary:

& to celebrate 20 years, we're cancelling a show that's been on the block for almost 3 years, then came back for almost another 4 years.

Not like CN was doing much with it.
Weird how start of XY had the first episode released the same time as Japan on CN. CN has less interest with it as time goes on. Then the series gets picked up Disney XD making me thing it will get a push, then four months into Sun and moon and silence.

Looks like Funimation will be Broadcast Dubbing Attack on Titan Season 2 next month.
The video also lists Super, so I'm curious if they just plan to upload dubbed episodes as they air on Toonami.

They're also simuldubbing My Hero Academia for the first 9 episodes or something, then a-few-days-delayed-dubbing it like they did with S1.
Might be some bizarro licensing issues Japan-side, like what we had with Super.
Basically what happened to Naruto all those years ago happened with Pokémon. CN didn't think it was worth matching what Disney was willing to pay. Now Pokémon is a much more demographically fitting show so it shouldn't turn out too bad for them but I wish they'd get a move on showing what they have of Sun/Moon.

1. Monster Girls. Always enjoy watching this one.
2. Dragon Maid. This show is funny and colorful.
3. ACCA. Dope ass opening theme to this harem of politics show that's kinda boring.
