Samurai Champloo puts me to sleep. I thought it was Naruto Shippuden filler but no, it's Champloo.
That is 100% pure unfiltered JYB. Sounding like a 70% Lelouch/ 30% Ichigo mix.

Man few things suck more than when close friends and family start to show their asses. It honestly feels like a betrayal of sorts since I would assume you know them pretty well in most respects. I can't really give you any specific advice but I just hope you keep your chin and and those close to you with "objectionable" views eventually see the light so to speak.

Naruto Shippuden: They're in the final arc in Japan. We'll have a date soon... right?
One Piece: You like Disney?
It's likely that starting in December (or January), we're getting DBZ Kai: Buu Saga. I can't imagine that two high-profile shows ending so close to each other will happen.

Is that Peter Cullen? Also yeah they really went for the Gundam Wing nostalgia . We we kind of talking about that in the podcast so interesting though not surprising they went this route. A good idea IMO. Also I don't think JYB fits Orga

So technically speaking, since toonami is moving up intact, what is getting depleted? Is the extra episode of DBZ still there?
Very nice to hear about Toonami getting moved to a 9:30 start time. Now I can get to bed half an hour earlier
West coast times...
Seen it three or four times and have never been a great big fan of it, though I recognize its quality. It's also very relaxing at times with its music/visual presentation.

Yeesh, I thought I blocked that from my mind. I just remember that one of the early episodes had the token human try to awaken the main Gundam with a kiss a/la Sleeping Beauty.
Yeah, might miss a few DBZ's myself. A friend moved a bit further away and has Saturday's off now.
The sad thing is they kinda sorta handpicked that show because of the aging down of TOONAMI block at the time plus the mobile suits involved are all familiar to the TOONAMI audience.
It's by no means the worst thing aired on TOONAMI but its not exactly...good either.

I don't remember, I think I turned it off after that. Too much stupid for my 14 year old mind.
Yeah, I remember it being on Toonami for a bit. Especially when the toys were trying to be advertised.

Just do what I do and don't have a social life.
Reminds me of "Ben 10'clock" during Eureka Seven, when they were originally going to advertise the DVDs but Bandai lost all their anime licenses (E7 to Funimation) so they couldn't promote it.

At the very least SD Gundam fits in somewhat to Toonami.
