One thing that actually dawned on me though is that I think some people put a little too much emphasis on the overall viewer rather than the 18-49 rating. The rating shows the actual percentage of the target demos actually watching the product. The block on average is getting a third of the overall viewers who are watching tv on Saturday nights.
Could be better, but it's also not as dire as we have been making it out to be.

Oh btw, over in Japan, Super just beat One Piece in ratings for the first time.
To be fair, at a first glance, Xenoblade 2 looks more "anime" than previous Xenoblade games. Regardless of outfits, I feel most would be happier if the main cast were older.

LOL at that image, anyway two notes:
A) Jaco in the Resurrection of F movie was way more involved. They fought side by side with the other Z warrior and knocked out their fair bunch of the Freiza Corps. I dunno why the Super TV series reduced his role so much.
B) The reason all the villagers are covering for Naruto, regardless of whether or not they know anything, is to show how much the village now respects and likes Naruto after the start of the show. It also raises the stakes for when Naruto actually gets back. It's not about the villagers so much is it about making Naruto look better.

So I never played Metroid 2.

I'm so glad I read through this dumpster fire of a final arc. It's going to make a glorious case study in what not to do in story-telling.

It at least a proper ending not Kubo realizing he wasted too much time and Jump just pulled a plug on it and told him enough
They have the opposite problems in regards to fight and pacing, Kubo waste too much time on shit while Hiro have it's heroes one shot it's powerful villains

I'm mixed about this one one hand i can understand if health issues got to him and i heard that Jump doesn't particularly treats its authors well and he was probably rushed
on the other hand it's his fault that the final arc lasted as long as it did when he created like 26 captain level enemies for the characters to fight and wasted time on pointless stuff and not focusing on answering questions
I was far more insulted by how I Am a Hero turned out than Bleach or Naruto. That was a legitimately interesting well written and drawn manga for a good portion of its run and then its just gets incredibly stupid and then ends. Not sure if there was a reason for that but felt like the author just said fuck it.
