Also, she used up all the bullets in the gun and missed with every shot because her teacher clearly didn't think giving it to her through.Skeleton warriors got her and then Kamen Rider Shin chopped off its arms and then it was daytime.
That's a pretty Ghibli-esque shot right there
Teach is going to be pissed there was a faster way down.
Overall, I would say I'm glad I got to watch this, but at the same time, it would be hard to recommend unless they saw Shinkai's other films & wanted to see this as well.I am enjoying this.
not really sure why but I am glad I saw it...
barring a shit ending
Yeah, I expect the end to be just as confusing as the rest because, y'know, obscure mythologies and such.
It's like a staple of so many anime movies/shows. Just find some obscure or complicated mythology and build a show around it. Doesn't matter of none of it makes sense. Just think of all of the cool sounding names and bizarre concepts you can use.
M-maybe it works like Shenron and has no downsides...r-right?I am sure this will end well for him.
Nah, I get what you mean. It has the core concept & structure for a great story, but like I mentioned, it feels like it would've worked if Ghibli themselves did this.I dunno if this makes any sense, but I feel like the movie frames a potential story well, but the actual story presented is pretty weak.
Surprise, the teacher is our villain?
"Suprise" like it wasnt obvious from the startSurprise, the teacher is our villain?
