That's what immigration is. You can't just ask to get in.

But Canada's still easily one of the countries most friendly to immigration in the entire world. The skill-based category is what nearly everybody uses to get in, as far as i know, and the list of skills and credentials they accept are more lenient and broad than any other first world country I know of. Especially if you're bilingual.

But no, it's not trivial to immigrate, even for Canada. And I suspect they're going to be wary of applications from the US for a while.

honestly the worst thing for me at this point is seeing all the people I like get so depressed, it hurts to see everybody like this :/

I think I'm going to need to go on a media blackout. Because of your election I have barely eaten anything since yesterday afternoon.

On a different note, I'm feeling a lot better about being Canadian thanks to America going full dumbass, so there's that small consolation for me.

I could barely sleep. No one in my family will be watching the news; there won't be anything good. At least as a Californian, I should be insulated from whatever Trump decides to do, but I half expect a white person to glare at me when I go on a walk today, or even shout a slur at me. I never had that fear before.

Guys, I know it looks bleak, but to be honest, i'd rather have Trump then Mike "Gay Conversion Therapy" Pence or many of the other Republican candidates. The Silver Lining is that we just have to hope that Trump is everything he claims to be (it's unlikely but what else do I have to fucking go on)

America can survive incompetent presidents, it has for a very very long time (I'd argue our best post WW2 president is either Bill Clinton, Obama, or Richard Nixon, which is not saying much at all) we survived 8 years of Bush

Please get active, and remember, dont look down on others for disagreeing with you. Do not act superior to others. Yes, you may be 100% correct, and yes, maybe it is justifiable morally speaking to be a dick to people like that, but it does not win elections. We need to win elections

I always think it's important how a character is introduced to an audience. Casshern is introduced mid battle, finishing off a much larger robot with ease. Despite that his facial expression and posture gives a detached almost defeated feel. When a large group of robots march on him spouting the famous (or infamous) line, he tears through them. It's might not have been noticed much, but Casshern is noticeably more violent early in the series. When fighting later on, he often seems to end fights quickly. Here however, there are multiple times where he literally rips out the wiring from his enemies. The first half of the episode paints Casshern as a monster. The second half, where he saves Ringo, presents him as a person who seems almost afraid of remembering who he is. It's this switch that defines Casshern, and to an extent, the show itself.

Why did I click that thread in Off-Topic about all the hate crimes & such after Trump's victory......can we get lucky & he somehow gets impeached before the end of the year?

I truly, truly hope none of that shit happens to any of you, or your friends & family, who might be possible targets.

We should probably wait for the studio Shuka to clean the show up a bit first.

I really enjoyed it, but Shuka certainly isn't studio bones, or even studio Pierrot.
