So I recently sat down to play Shovel Knight. Wanted to play it when it came out, but didn't have the coin.
And it's pretty good so far. Beat 4 bosses.
I will say, Specter Knight's level was kind of bullshit.

I don't think they're the same show. The first is edited power rangers footage, the second is danger five.
That's ok because it has the best level music.

Nope, it's available for everyone, just not for every game.
I think the only time I ever did a preload pre-order was for BoxBoxBoy on 3DS, & that was only because it was about $7.

Only games I've ever preloaded are Blizzard games and Skyrim Remastered. My internet isn't great so I'm mainly still physical only on consoles. A 40gb game would probably take me close to a day to download.

Some bosses in Shovel Knight feel like a DPS race. Their patterns are too irregular to really pick up on, and I feel like if this was a classic Megaman game, I'd be dying to them a lot more. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean that Shovel Knight doesn't require as much of the average player as the games it's influenced by.

I don't agree with that at all since people have beaten SK without power ups like they have MM. Heck I'd argue most SK bosses are easier then most MM bosses with no power ups since SK can attack from above with his pogo attack. When you add in power ups the bosses if SK become a complete joke like MMX bosses with their weaknesses. Between the chalices and the phase relic the only bosses you should have any issue with in SK is the first form of the final boss.
I had issues with Shovel Knight's bosses, but that's because I hadn't played platformers in forever and I didn't play much before I was distracted by real life things. I should give it another shot, it was still a fun game

....this is flat-out the first time politics has actually gotten to me (granted, this would've only been the 2nd time I could vote), & man is it depressing....

The plot of Dishonored 2 kicks off in such a silly manner that it makes the beginning of the first game seem believable by contrast.
Have no choice but to get up and try again.

That is the kind of thing that got Nixon impeached.
At the very least, just one more day until Toonami. Jojo will continue to be awesome, we're finally starting the next arc in HxH that many have said to be the start of when things get "real", Gohan is going super duper saiyan & puts us one episode closer to finally defeating Cell, we're watching everyone fight Oars in OP (well aside from Luffy), & IBO appears to slowly be getting better again.
If I may be serious again, I really do appreciate how open & respectful everyone here is when it comes to voicing opinions. This is the only place I feel safe talking about the recent political stuff going on, considering I usually would stay away from the topic because I always felt it was just a landmine that would set people off & result in arguments that lead nowhere, which results in everyone just feeling more negative & why I never got into them in the first place.
If I may be serious again, I really do appreciate how open & respectful everyone here is when it comes to voicing opinions.
