the quality of DBZ Abridged has ruined most other abridged shows for me.

Season Zero has been hilarious ("Shut up Seto"), so while I do blame later LK for the downfall of YTAS's quality around episode 30+ (you like Adult Swim, WE GET IT), I also can see that it's hard to make jokes if the material isn't there. Same problem with SMA. When the shows themselves don't take themselves very seriously there's lots of good jokes to make.

TFS are wizards though.

Pretty much. Yugioh abridged seems like it tries to hard sometimed.

also the generally low quality of its creation (at least for the initial episodes) is an issue in me trying to watch it.

i did watch what he's done of "season zero", however, and it was pretty good. maybe the most recent episode not as much, but the first two were fantastic.
