Speaking of, I spent a good chunk of the day watching the Star Wars marathon they had on Spike.
Man, the CG is really wonky in Ep 1&2 (especially 2 for some reason...).
This reminds me of the old Adult Swim ad of Inuyasha where they just kept repeating "INUYASHA" "KAGOME"

I agree, the pacing prior to that arc is embarrassing. Seriously, it's an absolute joke. If you think Bleach can be bad...

yeah, but the original series is very widely seen or at least people know how it ends, especially among Toonami viewers. i would assume they fill you in on some of the blanks since it's the start of a new series after a timeskip; throwing people headlong into a show after over a year of episodes seems ridiculous to consider when that show hasn't aired on Cartoon Network at any point.
