And Deidara there because we need a Genthru
Mako is also Uncle Iroh from Avatar. That's how I found out.I was watching some behind the scenes documentaries for some of the CN shows from way back, and I come across the Adult Swim video of the production of Samurai Jack Season 5 from July 2016. It is seriously fucking cool how the stuff looks going from storyboards to the aired product, basically the process of the revival 12 years later.
I had no idea the original Aku passed away though. Damn...
The harem thing is somehwhat tolerable, since it just feeds into the gag of him wanting to marry a nun.Ugh so it's Naruto but a harem that makes it better
But yeah it's a replacement for Naruto and now FT for young people
How dare you scoff at a mans makeshift Saint Seiya armor. You can't beat me while I'm wearing this great armor
And of course thesoul societySDF are dicks
And I don't think i care for this twist with Yusuke
Oh forgive me I don't know..........How dare you scoff at a mans makeshift Saint Seiya armor.
I finished the manga last night. The actions of the SDF end up making sense from what may be my all time favorite thrown in plot point at the end. I wonder if the anime even mentions it.You can't beat me while I'm wearing this great armor
And of course thesoul societySDF are dicks
And I don't think i care for this twist with Yusuke
"You have become evil"
"Look jerk give me a break it's called a running joke"
What is this from?
Yes...Sensui was gay. I might not have liked it years ago, but I think I appreciate this more now that I'm older and more mature.
In Bleach to kill hollows, keep balance and protect afterlife and king...What was the point of the Soul Society again?
They're actually pretty good and nuanced characters. Sensui is still probably one of the best mirror the protagonist characters. I consider him a much better executed version of a particular Naruto villain.Togashi in general seems pretty cool with gay and trans people in his works. It is kind of surprising I guess considering how some of his contemporaries handle such subjects.
With rookies you have to pray to RNGesus.X-com Enemy Within/Unknown
*Shoots at an Alien hulk point blank misses every shot*
FFS how are these guys the best earth has to offer, earth deserves the invasion
Sensui's motivation is what bugs me. It's kinda like a slightly better version of the Tokyo Ghoul dilemma. His big hangup is that some people did some bad things to demons...Demons who eat/rape/torture humans without a second thought.
The true depth behind Sensui is in the details. His black and white morality system couldn't handle that humans are capable of evil deeds as cruel if not crueler than the demons he was responsible for hunting. It's something that Yusuke didn't have a problem with and he had room in his mind for more shades of gray. This is something that eventually comes to play in Hunter x Hunter.Sensui's motivation is what bugs me. It's kinda like a slightly better version of the Tokyo Ghoul dilemma. Only in the MangaThe demons were bad since they were brainwashed by King Enma so he could maintain his political stature.
It was a set up! Or something.
To be clear for those who haven't read it, this is something that's just expo-dumped in the last chapter, not something they actually explore.Only in the Manga
Oda treats the "okama" characters pretty okay, and they're pretty fun, but they're massive stereotypes. If One Piece was written by a modern author, it would get a lot of deserved shit for it.
Togashi and Horikoshi are the only Jump authors I'd trust to write gay and trans characters with anything like good taste. Otherwise, as usual, you need to go into seinen stuff to find the well-written LGBT stuff.
Correct. The Okama in One Piece owes more to drag queen culture than homosexuality/transvestism, due to the relative asexuality of the series.
Which maybe explored in the Manga but has been shown for the most part they are dicks And hate humansTo be clear for those who haven't read it, this is something that's just expo-dumped in the last chapter, not something they actually explore.

*Dude forgets to put his grasses on* "weak as fuck."
That makes sense, I've heard Gintama references a ton of things.Gintama
How is the Sensui has split personalities part received?
He used those multiple personalities to process his existence. I don't always see character development as Shonen bullshit.I found it wholly unnecessary and just a roundabout way of saying "he was hiding his TRUE power!!!"
I wouldn't have minded seeing the implied personality where he's a woman. Sensui actually has some pretty good depth. It's just bogged down in a lot of weirdness and not having time to flesh all of it out.it would've been better if we saw more than 3 of his personalities for an extended period
That makes sense, I've heard Gintama references a ton of things.
Does he write his own version of HxH and start bitching about putting it on hiatus?Legit the funniest episode in my opinion is when the main character, Gintoki, decides to become a manga consultant and ends up going meta on the Shonen Formula.
But Araki is immortal.
