yeah, that surprised the hell out of me. MSP has a huge college campus right downtown, and it's one of the top 5 cities for live music period and it has having a shit load of other cultural arts things to do and a plethora of great restaurants (keep in mind this is all relative to it's size). Apparently the reviews forgot to vist uptown and the college area (dinky town).

Yeah, I guess Austin is great if you know how to pick up ladies...and I don't. The random mall skanks are easy, but I get very nervous when I actually like the girl. My friends are always telling me "That girl was checking you out" or "She totally wanted you" but I never act on it. I don't see the signs, and I rarely act on the ones I do see.

I'm not into music at all, so the live scene does nothing for me. I would never take a date to a club though...thats just asking for trouble. I would prefer a trip to CoCo's or maybe a movie. Seattle, WA: No surprise here—Seattle has the largest number of coffee shops (great places for meeting people or gathering to rehash the previous night's activities). It also has the highest percentage of online daters.

We pretty much have three coffee shops on every block, which increases our ranking in this extremely flawed "study."
