I'm pretty sure that Japanese users have the ability to change PSN display names. Don't know why this isn't an option for other regions.
Vita #1 doesn't sound appealing at all. Sure, the DualShock 4 controller is much more comfortable than the Vita controls, but where am I supposed to place my Vita while playing? Am I supposed to tape my DS4 below my Vita or buy a cradle/stand?

For the Vita list I care about #3 and #4 and #4 should be higher up because why that auto-dim function is mandatory is beyond me. I just don't understand it. Also, dualshock 4 compatibility for Vita remote play is number 1? I guess the whole "Vita as a companion device" is working out for Sony.....

Changing the light strip colour is above sorting games into folders? WTF! That's a serious lack of priority from people voting. Who cares about the light strip. I'd rather have the ability to sort my games before my home screen is a mile long line of boxes

PS4 #10 should be #1. Let me remove whatever I don't want on the Home Screen or let me at least put them in whatever order I want. Don't want Music Unlimited going to #1 in the list every time I use it to listen to a few songs.

This liost is only missing suspend & resume ... but other than that i WANT everything in this , not necessary in that order but that would be awesome.
Multiple account on vita might be a real pain thanks to the way the security works on the mem cards but i hope to see it one day.

The "one memory card per account" restriction was introduced by a firmware update and could as easily be removed in the same way.

Microsoft obviously tried with IllumiRoom but it ended up being too expensive. I hate having to use my iPad camera to give me full room illumination.

Why do they not include suspend/resume?
Other than that, I think they should fix what is there and broken before adding more. It's very annoying to me since I don't like the whole sharing idea to begin with, but it's there regardless and it's apparently broken for many people so it needs fixed first. Quality over quantity.

My #1 feature for both platforms would be something that keep track of the amount of time that you play individual games like we see with Steam and Nintendo platforms. It's a cool feature that I was hoping would be a standard feature in the new consoles.
I would lose my mind if they gave me this option.

You still can't see friends sign in/off or pause/prioritize downloads: lol. Almost all of that shit seems like stuff that should have been included day one.

Wait, you can't check trophies on the PS4 unless it's online? That's really strange since you can check them before it sync's up fully. Same with the Vita.

Sony really should be more proactive in getting firmware updates released. We are now paying for PS+ for MP, and they said this would go back into investment in their online initiatives....

I agree with the Vita points, but the PS4 is lacking the ability to disable the 'beeping' when starting up, and the ability to turn off the joypad LED.

OH MY GOODNESS, YES. Same on PS3. This may sound ridiculous, but sometimes I don't play late at night because I know that freaking *beep* is going to be heard everywhere in the house.

Same here.. 1BR apartment.. and I have no 'stealth' way to turn on/off my PS4. It is ridiculous. The LED on the Joypad makes it even worse as it lights up the whole room.
The beep doesn't sound positive either, I find it bizarre.

The fact that no one cares about notifications stay forever shows that people never played 360 or they love getting beat everyday by Sony.
im not excusing sony's slow as shit updates to the ps4 os because its fucking annoying now, but it is pretty funny everyone is complaining that sony is "waiting to release features in one massive update instead of just giving us the features as they complete them" and praising ms for doing way more frequent updates to the xbone os when everyone's biggest complaint about the ps3 os was that it got updated too often and they should have done quarterly updates like xbox 360

They did remove that request, because at one point I went through the list while the voting was still active (specifically to vote that issue up) and certain requests were being closed. Suspend/Resume was one of them. Super annoying.

How the Ps4 doesn't have some of these basic things is baffling. (I mean seriously, it can't play mp3s? Can't change the background???)

All I did was ctrl+F "Follow," and didn't see it, so maybe it's in there using different terminology, but I'd really like for a feature similar to Xbox One's "Follow" feature, which allows you to follow users without them having to accept your friend request. It'd just be neat to follow some of the gaming personalities I listen to to see what they're playing/when they're online. It's a bit frivolous, but I think it'd be nice.

My top Vita request is PS2 emulation.
That sounds impossible. Vita does not have the horsepower to do that. Just look at the God of War ports.

I really liked the Share site when it launched, but honestly, I don't know that it has ever amounted to anything? Sony goes through and checks off stuff it ended up delivering sometimes, but all of those features seem to be roadmap features not taken from any clever user suggestion. At least the PS4's introduction swept up the pop charts, the biggest Share leaders were always pie-in-the-sky features that could never happen
