Your students are sick fucks. That's my interpretation.

I'll make sure to deliver the message to my 12 year old kids next time I see them. XD

In any case!

The biggest problem with the franchise is that it's name and the way its marketed in things like the game betrays the actual core of the series which is about a sister and a brother reconciling after years of being super distant and hateful toward each other. That's probably why my kids enjoy it so much. They also say it's super funny.

To answer C_V, no. Haha, they really like Kuroneko and the main character apparently.

This thread is kind of tongue in cheek. Just roll with it.

My mistake, carry on!

Also isn't the age of consent in Japan like 13 or something? Someone in my high school speech class did a presentation on Japan and brought that up.

The minimum age of consent in Japan is 13 by law.
Wikipedia said:
The national age of consent in Japan is 13 as specified by the Japanese Penal Code Articles 176 and 177.[33][dead link] However, prefectures can have ordinances that prohibit sexual activities with any minor under 18.

Well, the anime was pretty funny.

lol, they didn't have the guts.

Yup. Hahaha. They do apparently have the guts to let the 18 year old main character knock up his 15/16 year old girlfriend though. With how crazy the stories appear to get, I have the feeling that the writers are just trolling like crazy.
