BS. Talk about conspiracy. Go to commercial and pick up conversation implying something else entirely. Iraqi dude is gonna die. 950 volts. Will probably save soldiers instead killing a "terrorist".

One thing that didn't make sense is Kiefer saying 65 was the last apartment in the building yet there were apartments above which you think would have higher numbers. Probably just lying to his kid but still...

Really love how Iraqi dude helped save someone's life by cutting the power when he was all so close to being dead in the pilot.

Now watch Awake, Touch fans.

LOL at the man in black from Lost looking at a sign 'You have questions? He has answers!, then looking at a lottery ticket. Massive Lost feelings.

Good episode. Followed the strings of the story a lot better than the previous episode. I figured out where the Iraqi story was going as soon as the voltage became important, but it was a nice story anyway.

I'm assuming the guy (Man in Black from Lost) in the church is going to be important later since he mentioned Martin and Jake to the priest.

Good episode, although I'm quickly tiring of Kiefer breathlessly running after his son. "Jake get back here! Jake. Jake! Get back here!" Urgh.

I forgot the show AGAIN. At this point, I might as well wait for the DVDs.

Have you checked Hulu?

Another great episode! Loved it and it looks like that there's something about Sarah that we might find out in the next episodes. BTW, like RatskyWatsky said, I'm getting tired of Kiefer always following his son shoutting "Jake Jake Jake Jake...."

I love how he always has total Jack Bauer moments in every episodes. Between the screaming DAMMIT in episode 2 or the way he whispers "sonofabitch" or choking the guy with veins popping out of his head "You think you know me? You don't know anything about me...it was my JOB!"

Makes me feel a little better...

"JAKE" is the new "WAAAAAALTT"

Good ep but I hope they start pushing the show forward a little, the procedural aspect is already a little stale.

this show is like "coincidences" the tv show. or kismet or what have you. I

'm borderline comatose when watching it thinking; its going going to knit together quite conviniently. awake bombed when it shouldn't? This should.

"Jake... are you trying to tell me something?"
Well yeah, no shit. Just team up with the kid already and stop being surprised every time it happens.

Maybe the lottery winner will give them money so they can form an agency to travel the world helping people.

Exactly.

I still like this show but they need to get a fresh angle soon. I think Martin Bohm just gets a little too much drama to handle every episode. No man gets robbed or shot at twice a week. It feels like a little bit too much.

That aside, the concept is quite nice and promising and so is the cast.

Muslim girl was gorgeous. Decent ep as well but probably the weakest so far.

I'll second that. The girl was exceptionally cute. I hope we see more of her...is the main part of the show set in New York? That's where the college adverts were pointing towards, so maybe she'll be back like the Iraqi kid. One can hope.

Overall, I liked the episode. I always tear up at long-lost family reunions so that part of the episode really got to me. I'm glad this is doing well...this and Grimm were the only shows I really picked up this season and both look to at least get a second one, if not a third. (Well, there was Awake too but everyone expected that to be DOA so my hopes weren't up for renewal on that one. :| )

Quite enjoying this, although the kid's a little annoying the show's entertaining and the interconnectedness of all these people is reaching almost Dirk Gently levels. Quite interesting to see how it all plays out, although a lot of what we're seeing can't possibly be influenced by Keifer or his son.

One thing that I'm really enjoying is the music. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the theme? Think I'm going to set it as my alarm clock, haha.

I love the opening theme of the show.So great.

I liked the story in the episode, especially the Asian lady and the guy in the plane. but the plane crash being regulated to the background was kind of odd but eh?

I really love how the show's events are starting to tie together now and form an over-arching plot. But kind of like 24, it seems like the show might work best as a single season. We'll see though!

I've watched most all of the episodes now (did a bit of a marathon last weekend) and I enjoy the show but the reaches and lapses in reality are a bit much at times. Martin's laptop getting stolen and then him being okay with leaving the rest of his shit on the ground? The bus driver actually driving away when he knows the circumstances involved and there's clearly a thief on the run? I don't buy it, even in New York.

But that said, I love the idea of the show and Kiefer has a special place in my heart due to my years of 24 love. It's a very good show that is slightly hamstrung by its concept.

Touch is such a ridiculous show. We are to believe that while in the midst of a custody battle with the State, he is able to hold down a job and spend his days running around trying to solve his son's riddles? Not to mention the fact that he continues to put himself in dangerous situations, yet suffers no legal or criminal consequences.

I'm probably in the minority, but I think Keifer is such a one note actor. From the way he yells Jake constantly to the way he pleads with people to believe him, it just feels all too similar to how he approached the character of Jack Bauer, except he isn't kicking ass and shooting bad guys here.

I agree. I haven't seen 24 or anything else with Kiefer in it so I have nothing else to compare his performance in Touch with, but he is very one note.

Ha. That's a big error.

They seem to still have the phone now. It's been a while since the first episode, so I don't remember exactly what the bomber's phone looked like, but was it possible they just copied everything from the original phone and have the copies traveling with them while the original (the one belonging to the guy who thought he had lost his family photos) ended up with the bomber?
