As cheesy as that whole "I believe in love" arc, it was nice. Tonight was good, show is slowly reminding me of heroes session 1.

I agree. I haven't seen 24 or anything else with Kiefer in it so I have nothing else to compare his performance in Touch with, but he is very one note.

Kiefer is far from a one-note actor, his performance in 24 was fantastic and worthy of all the numerous award wins. The character of Jack Bauer went through a massive transformation throughout that series and he nailed it every step of the way.

I would say he's being let down by the poor writing in Touch. He's essentially been forced to repeat the same actions/storyline every single week which has gotten tiresome imo. And they haven't really given his character much to work with - being a widowed father and mostly acting alongside his mute son who doesn't interact back. With the way this show is written, I doubt he will ever be given the opportunity to show off his acting range.

Just finished the new episode.

From the distorted camera and mysterious teleportation. Amelia is
clearly being controlled by the Slender Man.

Liked the sub plot where the Australian guy(<3) is trying to tame the horse, and the web cam girl finds true love, but other than that I thought it was a fairly weak episode. I am a little surprised that Danny Glover's character is dead though. The fact that he was only in a few episodes must have been the reason why he agreed to take on such a terrible role. It was only for a few episodes, and the pay was probably decent.

With the way this show is written, I doubt he will ever be given the opportunity to show off his acting range.

I don't think so either. As you said, he's literally playing the same scene over and over again in every episode.

Liked the random people of the week stuff. Everything with Kiefer and Jake and Clea grated on me.

How many times can you lose you're son in a single episode? Gosh writers, it's getting old.

Exactly. You could probably play a drinking game based on how many times Kiefer loses track of his son.

Wooo! Here's hoping Tim Kring doesn't pull the same crap he did with Heroes.

Too late?

Heroes had a good first season (for the most part) and huge ratings. Touch is the complete opposite so far - shitty ratings and mixed reaction at best.

Ugh. Another season of "Jake get back here! Jake. Jake! Where are you going? Get back here! Jake!"

This isn't great, but it's clearly the best of the three dramas Fox was deciding between. They made the right choice, though given the ratings trajectory I don't see a third season in Touch's future.

True, but I wish they would have cancelled all three. Oh well. Maybe there will be a vast improvement in season 2.

Eh, I thought The Finder was a much better show. And who knows, we'll see what happens when Touch inevitably moves to Fridays.

new york drivers r really that bad?
Jack Bauer is running across the street, and the cars are trying to hit him even though u can clearly see its a walk sign.

What? Only 10 episodes? Expected 13.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure they're taking a week off after tonight then airing two more episodes on 5/31.

For the last few weeks Wikipedia and FollowMyTV said that there were only 10 episodes this season. I looked earlier this morning and it was 10. I check again now and there are 12? WTF? I guess you're right then. Tonight isn't the finale after all. Weird.

Ehhh...the show's starting to really lose me. I think if the season finale wasn't next week I'd bail out. Not trying to be a hater and the like, but it's just taking a lot to really do anything for me.

Chuck Alum Joins Touch-Tinged Web Series

Chuck‘s most Awesome alum Ryan McPartlin will co-star in Daybreak, a six-episode web series loosely connected to Touch. Though not directly based on the Fox drama, the series –exec-produced by Touch creator Tim Kring and penned by Raven Metzner (Six Degrees) — centers on the Dodecahedron, an object that was recently introduced on the Kiefer Sutherland star vehicle. The project will launch following the May 31 Touch finale.

This is an amazing episode. So many callbacks to most of the major characters appearing throughout the season.

Hopefully Friday timeslot doesn't kill this show.

Great season. Definitely my favorite show currently airing.

Wasn't the firefighter in Virginia though? Strange to see him back in NYC. Wasn't he getting back together with his wife too? Why's he mackin on lady with son? I'm obviously forgetting something.

That was an excellent season finale. I'm surprised it finished off so strong and am not at all sorry that I got involved in the series. The last scene was pretty much perfect.

I'm also glad they broke away from the super obvious connect-the-dots formula they used in the first handful of episodes in favor of more of an arc.

That was a good finale. I'm kinda surprised that they ended the season with Kiefer and Jake on the run. That should provide next season with some interesting material, at least to start out with.

I wonder how much involvement Gugu will have in season 2, what with her character being stuck in NY and all. I bet she eventually comes to LA. (and there will probably be some sort of triangle between her, Kiefer, and Maria. Speaking of...)

Maria Bello was a good addition to the cast (and pretty hot) and I'm interested in seeing where they take her character in season 2.

The Japan tsunami story was pretty cool too.

Haha, Keifer Sutherland having anxieties killing a man, I'm sorry but that scene just didn't work AT ALL.

I liked the finale, it was well done, loved the final shot and some of the side stories worked well, I still love those asains. Wonder how they will pop up next season.

Outstanding finale. Changing the dynamic for the next season also. That last scene legit brought tears. Love this show.

Whoops!! I missed the first hour and only saw the second and didn't even realize I missed anything until today when I found out it was supposed to be a two hour finale.

Hmm...

Just a heads up: Season 2 doesn't premiere until late October, but they're actually airing a special unseen episode from season 1 tonight at 8/7c. Season 1 was 12 episodes, but I think this is being classified as episode 13.

Yeah, I was glad to see this turn up on my DVR to do list. I'm looking forward to watching it tonight. I've watched so much Fox this week with X Factor, Glee, and now this. That's not even including that Bones is back next Monday. Fox is definitely my favorite broadcast network.
