That's exactly why this is a concept trailer. It wasn't meant to be judged as finished.

This trailer is showing the multiplayer concept, and if the project was greenlit for release the developers would fill in the blanks so that the 'not much to do' turns into a fun gameplay loop.

I hope they include this in Spiderman 3 as an online component of the game. They could earn some microtransaction in the process.

Scrapping years of work would be a waste.

Looks better than Suicide Squad I suppose, but I'm glad neither Insomniac nor ND are wasting their time and resources on stuff like this.
