They will probably announce one closer to release, maybe along with the release date. XSEED usually doesn't announce limited editions at the same time they announce a game.

Kind of curious how that will work with two versions of the game. I guess one for each platform with the same contents.

Unless the CE includes some snazzy arranged soundtrack will probably only get digital as I already got the (awesome) OST from iTunes. I wish more devs released their digital soundtracks to the US ( I am looking at you Gust)

I'd be very, very disappointed if XSEED didn't make a limited edition for this, one as good as the one for Trails in the Sky, at the very least.

The part of the game being shown is the game's prologue, which begins in media res. The characters all know each others' names, but the player does not, as none of these characters have been properly introduced yet -- they aren't until the game properly begins at chapter 1, jumping back in the story to the beginning.

When the events from the prologue are encountered in the game proper, the characters' names are all displayed, and a few additional details are added as well.

Seems like his biggest roles before this were Ozma/Gruda/Leo in Ys Memories of Celceta and Cassim from the Magi anime along with the above mentioned Danganronpa character. As far as I can tell this is his first lead role in either a game or anime.

I ordered the Marvellous one since that was up a few weeks ago and checking now, is £5 cheaper. Hope this doesn't backfire.

It's by XSEED...So I would expect it to have English dub.

No but signs point to the current Dec 15 placeholder as being potentially legit. I don't remember who but someone mentioned that it was definitely releasing before the end of 2015 in the SC OT.

Yeah it'll either make Dec 15th or it'll be next year. There's no way they'll move it closer to or after christmas.

Trails is still Trails, these games are large and unwieldy, it wouldn't surprise me if some bugs were being knocked out post-loc.

That should probably help ease fears about the school setting, though I think how Trails in the Sky handled typical JRPG/anime tropey characters should have been reassurance enough.

Yeah, I was kind of annoyed that there was one in the trailer for SC. It's kinda stupid because I just reached a part of the game that would've been so much more of a "Oh shit!" moment if they hadn't done that...

But that blog post pretty much told me everything I needed to know. I can mourn LoH falling into the sewer dregs of high school anime in peace knowing that localizers are working around the clock to undo the situation.

Alot of people who are at least receptive to anime are either still googoo for the school daze situation or have grown weary of it. It makes sense to me (or it was for the Tales of Cold Feet thing one).

Maybe the blog post's style came about because of my previous long comment.

I was one of the few people that had time to get my hands on with the game at E3 and I was the first person to write my full thoughts after delving into the game. Very few people had that luxury, and the ones that did... well, they didn't really write much of anything at all in terms of what the game is and does. They just kind of slapped some awards around, dropped a few lines on their websites, and left... which is sad considering the history of this series and what people should expect from it (plus, said people had a lot of trouble dealing with an untranslated menu... just hit some buttons, people)

Not to mention that most players are in the situation where they will come from FC and SC to this game, and that's the position I came from when I made my post, so it would make sense that my post was considered and not, say, some review of the Japanese version where such a hardcore player would have likely played all Kiseki entries up until now and thus would come to a totally different perspective... plus such a person would have finished the JP game, and the blog is addressing new players; the number of players who have fully completed the JP version and plan on re-defeating the ENG version is incredibly low.

But disregarding all that the blog post is very honest and comes from a high level of familiarity of Japanese content, so it goes to show that XSEED as a whole are trustworthy people that may work too hard.

After what happened with P5, I've pretty much assumed that if it's not announced by a month of the suspected release date, it's going to be delayed to next year.

Speak for yourself! I just made it to what I assume is not quite the last boss last night. I probably would've finished the game already if I hadn't gotten my ass handed to me so badly...

Although, to be honest, I wouldn't mind a little more time to breathe between the two games. Got so much other stuff to play.

how's the performance on Vita? I'd rather have this on a handheld but if the frame rate is similar to gust game on the Vita then I'll grab the ps3 version.
