I trust the material to varying degrees. Much of the information I read goes against my better sensibilities.
When I'm reading a guide for builds and I ever see the words "Every build is viable! Pick what you like!" I tend to take the rest of the post with a grain of salt, and this is one of those games with enough combinations that people tend to adapt this line of thinking.
Problem is, there are combinations that are just downright bad, and inversely there are combinations that show immense strength in certain areas, and seeing as how messing up your character's class path is basically a death sentence to your end-game experience, I think that the class advancement system might be a bit too punishing in the sense that you have absolutely no way of changing it later, even for a paid shop item. Nobody gets this kind of stuff right on their first try, and I can foresee a chunk of players quitting when they find out there dream build is rocks, and don't have the gumption to re-level from scratch.
