So the show was really good. These girls have amazing voices. they sing just effortlessly with beach boy quality harmonies. shocking. Also their lyrics are WIERD!! There was one song about people being frozen and dying that they did that isn't on the album. And another song influenced by a sci-fi book that one of the girls read. I mean how many girls do you know that read sci-fi books?! And then write a cool song about it!!? Very strange, but very cool.

only problem was they took the stage at like 11:45, and White Man, my gf, and I were at the place since 8:30ish. So it was a long wait.

We ran into Ben Gibbard of Death Cab. I wanted to kick his ass, and my gf wanted to cat fight with Ben Gibbard's gf. A couple months ago when we saw ben kweller, we had VIP passes, and Ben Gibbard's gf was like 'Get lost, you guys aren't VIP. This is for Death Cab family and friends only...' We just told her to fuck off :lol

Anywho, Eisley is really impressive to see and their new album is pretty strong for it being their first major label release.

Next outing, the mighty return of the Hot Hot Heat!!

It was even more amusing to badmouth Ben Gibbard standing ten feet away than it is to badmouth him from a distance. It was a quality of satisfaction that I could only liken to chugging the first giant americano in the morning.

Really good show. The vocals were outstanding. The nachos, however, needed a bit of work.

I lost 3 years of my writing on an Apple. Ben Gibbard has caused me to listen to shitty, shitty music for the past too many years. Two sworn enemies in one night, and it still turned out to be a good show.

Check Best Buy. I saw a lot of copies at a Best Buy in Arlington, Texas, so I'm sure you'll find it in Houston.
