Kung Pow Chicken to Kung Pow Bitch

Sounds like what I would do in classes back in the day. I wouldn't write notes or anything but I would scribled on the desk something like GVS THFD DSEC before the test started. Guess i'm a cheater but stuff like that breaks brain lock.

Wanted to catch a couple minutes of sleep during the middle of RAW cause I was so tired, ended up sleeping for a few hours so I just caught up a while ago.

Eve was even hotter that usual, oh that heel factor working for her.

Cena crushing Rock - I was catching up on the thread, and I was seriously laughing at those posts thinking that it was all elaborately set up that the notes on Rock's arm were planted JUST so that Cena had a lil' extra fuel last night. Come on now, with the way Rock was stuttering and repeating all night, it was no shocker to me that he wasn't prepared at all and just wanted to wing it, and he even came up with some surprisingly-lame crap too (Kung Pow Bitch? You serious?) - it just seemed like an added ad-lib that he spotted in the back with the goal to win over The Rock.

Nothing more, nothing less.

But Cena was the best guy on the mic, and the only top guy to not fumble over his words, hate him or love him.

CM Punk was asked who his least favorite person was to work with in WWE since being called up in 2006.

"Elijah Burke"

Hoping for; Low Ki or Takeshi Morishima
Will probably be; Xavier or Jerry Lynn

Scratch that, it's going to be Homicide, who'll be facing Mike Bennett. Eh.

This iPPV has totally crept up on me, only 5 days away;

ROH - 10th Anniversary Show - NYC, Hammerstein Ballroom - March 4th - 5PM EST | 7PM PST | 10PM GMT

Buy at GFL.TV for just $9.99!

Main Event
ROH World Champion Davey Richards & Kyle O'Reilly vs. "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards & Adam Cole

ROH World Tag Team Championship
Jay & Mark Briscoe defend against the Young Bucks

ROH World Television Championship
Jay Lethal defends against "The Dominant Male" Tommaso Ciampa w/ The Embassy LTD.

Grudge Match
Jimmy Jacobs takes on "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" Kevin Steen

Special Attraction Tag Team Match
The Amazing Red & "Technical Lightning" TJ Perkins vs The House of Truth ("Unbreakable" Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong) w/ Truth Martini

Glory By Honor X Tag Team Rematch
Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) vs The All Night Xpress (Rhett Titus & Kenny King)

Special Attraction Match
"Notorious 187" Homicide vs "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett w/ Brutal Bob & Maria Kanellis

Lot of great looking matches on this one - personally I'm looking forward to Jimmy Jacobs vs Steen, which should be great if given enough time, The Briscoes vs The Young Bucks and that Special Attraction Tag Match, TJP & Red should bump like crazy for Strong & Elgin. The main event *should* be amazing, but I'm hoping they don't go totally overkill like they did at Final Battle.

I wish Chael would come in and teach these guys how to cut a promo.
I still can't believe how awesome that promo he did challenging Silva to basically a Luchas de Apuestas match. It would've been so awesome to have book that. I was in the middle of a break from MMA when it happened too, but it made me that much more interested.

I have to say this might be the first ROH PPV I don't watch live. I'm just not that interested in anything but Jacobs vs Steen.

Punks mini rant on Elijah just seems unnecessary to me although their matches were bad on both their parts.

Punks credentials aren't in question but he's quite a sloppy worker these days I think

Maryse had no charm in my opinion outside her "oh I'm better than you" heel persona. The should can the women's division anyway...I don't understand how in years it's so incredibly bad. I honestly liked to watch their matches with Trish and Jazz back in the day, now their truly bathroom breaks.

What do we have for Wrestlemania so far anyway:

Jericho vs. Punk
Triple H vs The Undertaker
The Rock vs. John Cena
Shamus vs Daniel Bryan

The problem is you get barbie dolls like the Bella Twins, Rihanna, etc who really cannot wrestle.

If the division revolved around Beth, Tamina, Kharma, AJ, that other chick who was with AJ and Natty than it'd be pretty decent.

Here is the thing Rock is an actor, this is what he does, he acts.

I think the march OT title should hype mania and rock a little.

Might be fun if some of casual wrasslegaf posts here some more.

I would call it the Month of Thuganomics since this month is probably gonna be the closest we are ever going to get to seeing heel cena ever again.

Also I guess Wresltmania will get its own thread before the April OT?

I think there should be a WM OT.

Mainly because I have a feeling a lot of non regulars will be among us
begging for streams

I stopped watching ROH after Final Battle. How has it been since then?

This is the first iPPV since Final Battle, and I personally haven't been watching the TV show since then either. Hopefully the production will be a ton better though, as Final Battle was a joke.

Speaking of awful iPPV production, I'm a bit wary about ordering that $1.99 DGUSA iPPV as it has no replay, considering every DGUSA iPPV I've bought has had audio or video problems ruin at least one match on the card.

Recent interview with Vader:

An upcoming sumo wrestling tournament that he will be competing in in Japan: "It's the top athletes in Japan, and the winner and I hope I don't win (laughs). It's not a work, it's real life sumo wrestling, against mixed martial arts fighters, kickboxers, etc. Its the top athletes in Japan. And if you win, you go on and you fight again and again, And the winner has to fight a guy named Akebono (who faced Big Show in a Sumo Match at Wrestlemania 21). This guy is a grand champion. 6"8" 440 pounds. He's got real long arms and whoever wins is gonna get murdered by him and I hope that's not me (laughs)."

Ron Simmons being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame: "You know this is the first I've ever heard about it. Just a fantastic guy. High quality individual, extremely strong, extremely quick. He is a good friend of mine, we had some great matches together. Congratulations to Ron, and he's gonna be a great representative for the WWE."

Whether there was a struggle in keeping the Vader character when he joined WWE in 1996: "Vince McMahon and I talked about that, what I think he really wanted to do was change the character and come up with something new. It was something I felt strong about, and we kinda butted heads about that part of the negotiations. He wanted to change my look a little bit and call me 'The Mastodon' but I wasn't hearing any of that. I wanted to be Vader and I told him I was going to be Vader or I was going back to Japan. I look back on that and thought maybe I could have done two characters, had Vader in Japan, and did The Mastodon here in America. You never know how that could have turned out."

His rivalry with Shawn Michaels that led to a match at Summerslam 1996 and whether it was discussed that he would win the WWE Championship: "Yeah there was talk of me taking the title from Shawn, obviously it never happened. Shawn wasn't just over, he was like the man. In his entire career in WWE he was the star. When I got there, Shawn was the guy, boy what a worker. He could get the job done. Fluent athlete, could do anything, just period. Didn't matter what you asked him to do, he could just do it. Didn't work out for me in the WWE, but I look back at my time there, and I enjoyed it, it was a great deal. They treated me very well for the two and a half years I was there."

Incident in 1997 in Kuwait where he appeared on the talk show "Good Morning Kuwait" and threatened the host when he asked him if wrestling was fake. Was he trying to protect the wrestling business?: "I never touched this guy, I physically never touched him. I wrapped my finger around his tie, and bent down and was asking. From my understanding, I was doing exactly what I was told to do period. Undertaker and myself were on the set and we were gonna wrestle that night. It was a great opportunity to promote our show, the agent told me what to do and I did it."

Once again, Vader takes the high road and doesn't talk about what an unbelievable shithead HBK was to him.

Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes seems like a foregone conclusion given the heightened focus on Show's Mania futility streak.
