Yeah well, if he had put a timetable or some kind of goal in place. What the fuck does until we figure out what's going on mean?

I think he is talking about the really bad screening but many of these radical hotbeds have almost no records on anyone so screening is pretty much impossible.

I love how to Trump it's a fucking mystery.

But to everyone else, it's the byproduct of decades of meddling and subsequent blowback.

I guess we'll never know!

To answer the questions from before, this is an example of why people did not have a charitable interpretation of his comments on "profiling".

I am genuinely more scared of America that Muslim Extremists at this point. At least in the latter case, its the occasional nutcase with misguided religous fervor. They aren't running for president.

I don't know if it's necessarily satire, per say, but there's no way in hell he fervently believes even half the shit he spouts. He knows you go hard right to win the republican nomination, so he's just testing this shit.

The key is that he probably doesn't actually give a flying fuck about being president. That's what holds back a lot of candidates. They think about the general. If he doesn't really care if he's president and more just wants the fame, why not?

Not intentionally, of course. Just imagining it as satire instead of a legitimate political campaign is more... enlightening, I guess. Funnier for sure, because some of this shit is pretty dark.

I do look forward to a day, maybe in twenty years or so, when a more enlightened and educated America can look back and say "Wow. Look how close we were to electing a fascist for President. We dodged a bullet that time. Guess we need to do some soul searching."

I thought I was going to grow up in an advanced technology age, not an orwellian, neo-nazist age where racism and hate runs rampant. Seems like we're heading for a new Iranian Revolution.

How many weeks until he gives his true opinion on how to handle the Muslim population already in the States?
Perhaps some sort of camp? Camps are fun! We could make a camp to, hmm... concentrate suspicious persons, if you will. Get 'em all in one place so they're easier to keep tabs on.

Some of you guys keep thinking this is funny. It's not anymore.
It stopped being funny when he said he was going to deport 11 million people and his polls surged as a result. How anyone is still laughing after that I have no idea.

Maybe we're laughing because we're trying to cope.

It wasn't funny day 1 when he said bigoted/racist comments and 1/2 the nation agreed. But, its not funny that 1/2 of america is like this. The thing I thank Trump for, is bringing everyone to light. Facebook/Twitter/Friends/Family. Things are getting very crystal clear now. I think we needed this to finally reveal how fucked up America is, so that we can battle ideas, HONEST ideas, whether its bigotry/islamophobia/etc, and start to move to resolve them as a people. Before we couldn't because everyone was too cowardly to admit how they feel about their fellow citizens. The gloves are off now.

Its very scary to see the slow steps that drive tyrants into infamy happening. That clip where the guy was thrown out of his speech or whatever, his face was disturbing. Trumps.

I almost think this power is going to his head. The power over masses.

Well that's the thing, we're not really that close. This is still the primaries, and his support makes up about 8% of the total electorate (may have changed slightly based on this last poll, but you get the point). This is just one bellowing irritable man and a small group of fanatical groupies making all the hoopla, but it doesn't necessarily translate into widespread support.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
But what about the Muslims who are here now? What's his final solution?

I agree with Trump on this.

The best thing about this statement by Trump is that you can gauge by the various responses to it who is with us Americans and who is part of the problem.

And the idiots in the MSM can’t figure out why he’s doing so well in the polls.
So much truth in these comments.

General rule: As technology changes, people don't.

The ISIS newsletter editor is probably ecstatic that he doesnt have to work so hard to create propoganda material when the American right provide them all they need.

This.

One really has to be blind to still treat any of this as entertainment.

It'll be interesting to see how much of the American news media is too terrified of the "liberal bias" accusation to call out fascism for what it is. (spoiler: most)

ISIS prospering from our electoral process is irony of the highest order
