But didn't he also refute the NYT story back in Feb that said people in Trump's campaign had contacts with the Russans in '16? Which was later proven to be true, but according to Maddow he pulled a trump WH spokesperson aside and told them that the "NYT story about you all is BS" This was confirmed by the person he pulled aside
That's shady as fuck that he would be communicating with the WH like that while they're under investigation for the exact thing he's refuting the article about. And to top it all off either he was wrong or out and out lied cause the NYT article was later proven true
