Trump on ban: "It's working out very nicely."

He got the KKK vote out no doubt.

PA was just a 60% turnout. There are more Democrats than Republicans. It was a failing of hers and a failing of Democrats, not just the party, that they did not turnout to vote.
He got the KKK vote more than republicans did against a black man? Against Barack "The Islamic Shock" Hussein "Don't Re-nig in 2012" Obama? And 60% is still higher than the national average.
Not gonna lie, I underestimated Trump.

Honestly I admit I didn't believe he'd go through with this and the wall.

Is this ban on Muslims? Or on specific countries that have large Muslim populations? Or something else entirely?
Ban on Muslims from 7(?) countries. It's important to note that there hasn't been a foreign terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11. And none of the 9/11 hijackers were from those countries.

The only folks who should be hiding their heads in shame are the 16 million+ voters who helped nominate Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Democratic primary. A mistake in judgement that will have ramifications for years to come. Hopefully, they stay home and out of sight like the candidate who lost to Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

Seriously though, hindsight is 20/20. It's not like Bernie would have won, he wasn't even good enough for the primary. And are you implying that Obama is some kind of bad candidate?

Oh wow, people are still going for this angle?

Okay, buddy. You just keep sitting there blaming that terrible woman Hillary. Have fun with that.

Hillary Clinton had no business losing to Barrack Obama or Donald Trump. She's an awful candidate.

Tens of millions of general election voters fell in line for the Democratic nominee and correspondingly wasted their time. Tens of millions saw Hillary as a terrible choice and resorted to not participating or voting for an alternative. The decision to nominate Hillary Clinton will carry explicit and implicit consequences. Hillary or bust supporters will have to live with that for the rest of their lives.

You keep peddling this nonsense when I bet you didn't even vote for her but won't assume any blame.

Hillary or bust people are people who actually voted for a qualified, competent woman for President of the United States right? Not people who took their ball and went home and decided that the election didn't matter or that Trump wasn't that bad or that Bernie should have won because he got fewer votes right?

Speaking up and participating in the democratic process is never a waste of time, you ass. I think Bernie would be ashamed to have you as a supporter.

Oh give it up already. You're a joke.

Trump getting into power like he did was a wake up call. New rules need putting in place now where any candidate would at least need known education or experience in political and economical subjects.

That's what some were saying the electors/electoral college was for wasn't it? As a check so the public can't elect someone who shouldn't be there?

He wasn't fit for office so they shouldn't have let him through. Some voted elsewhere but too many thought they were there just to pass him through.

Though the system should have put a stop to it earlier.

lol. How about we call out the millions of people who voted for an anti-democratic, racist, sexist, homophobic piece of shit?

Hillary's sipping wine at home chucklng at the chaos; this is the same Trump that was on the campaign trail, if the american people wanted this, its on them. Its like bratty teenagers mad at their parents not telling common sense stuff like when the car says its empty its gonna eventually die if you dont give it gas, lol

Yes in theory the actual electors are there to protect our democracy but it was clear that they didn't think Trump would be so bad either.

This guy is a fucking idiot. Refugees have been responsible for exactly ZERO terrorist attacks on American soil. After this? Chances substantially increased. When it happens I wonder who he'll blame.

This is a disgraceful post and you should be ashamed, but after enduring your posts for a while now I know you don't have any.

They are all appointed by their state's GOP. Only the most diehard trump supporters get assigned to be electors.

That's why you saw no defections. They are there to rubber stamp their team, not to debate who is the best person to run the country (like a parliamentary style system)

Ryan and McConnell staying silent, pathetic bastards.

The willingness of the GOP Congress to silently be complicit in all of this is sickening. As long as Obama's legacy is unmade and their pockets get fatter they DGAF. I never thought I'd long for the days of McCain's '08 run and point to it as a paragon of civility but, here we are.

I don't know why it's not bigger news that none of the countries he banned have produced terrorists, while the ones that aren't banned actually have.

Or that the ones he didn't are ones he has business investments in, which is a huge conflict of interest...

... Call a spade a spade, at least.

It's only been 1 week!!! What the hell were you voters thinking??

Not the ones who voted for Trump, the ones who didn't bother voting!! Terrible!

The majority of us apologize for the minority that got the necessary Electoral College votes.

But for those that did vote for him, "I didn't think he meant it", "I only cared about the tax breaks", "Both candidates were equally bad", "I didn't think I needed to vote", or "we're making America great again! (for white men)".

But, in all seriousness... We're really, really sorry. We're working overtime to fight this.

The people who voted for this guy must be saying his praises and must be really happy to see their guy actually fulfilling one promise after another. They all must be ecstatic. I am also really surprised this guy is doing exactly what he was saying in the campaign. I have to hand it to this guy for following up on his fascist promises unlike most politicians who never do what they say.

Also what about checks and balances in the govt.? Can a president do anything with executive orders? Can't the congress or courts stop this insanity?

The people that voted for him are loving it. They say he is doing what he promised, like no politician has before.

Hopefully some of the young people that are progressive, but still didn't vote and thought

- presidency isn't all that important
- Bernie was the perfect candidate. Nothing else matters
- Clinton corruption too strong and doesn't deserve a vote
- Clinton voted for Iraq... so she is tainted forever
- what does it matter. Both sides are the same
- it doesn't affect me who cares
- my state is red, my vote is unimportant
- trump will never get elected. Why bother
- trump would never do what he said he'd do. All politicians are the same

Hopefully you are watching this and feeling damn good about your decision

Man, can you imagine this first week if she had been in office? Those guys really saved us, didn't they?

Tens of millions who couldn't see or didn't care that Trump would obviously be a far, far worse choice than whatever they expected from Clinton were hardly going to be swayed simply by "better campaigning" on Clinton's part.

Blaming voters or non-voters is stupid. Clinton is responsible for her defeat. Obama's administration too.

She ran a shitty campaig but there is no one to blame but voters.

Hillary may have won the popular vote by x million votes. But 92 million didn't vote at all, and more actually did vote... but for 3rd party

So more than 50% of the country either wanted trump, or didn't care. They are to blame.

Hey, third party voters. I still remember your justifications. "Hillary is just as bad." Yeah? Speak the fuck up.
Hillary and the Democrats.

Fucked.

Up.

You, the horse you rode in on, your mother, the horse she rode in on and the cat.

If people voted for Trump or a third party then that is on the DNC for failing to give those people a good enough reason not to cast thier lot with a lunatic (or wail and nash thier teeth at being caught between the forces of Evil and Bullshit).

If the take away from all this is 'them others need to have thier right to vote taken from them untill they make the "right" choice' then you deserve President Donald John Trump.

Why hasn't this Nazi cunt been shot yet?

You probably shouldn't say something like this because it always ends up in a ban for that person. I don't think you will ever see Trump go out in public or talk to a crowd again though that don't work for him.

She provided plenty of good reasons to vote for her but people like you keep ignoring that. Not only that but Trump gave a pretty good reason as to why you shouldn't vote for him and make sure he doesn't have a shot at being elected.

I will not accept that Hillary's platform did not provide a good enough reason to vote for her given she was very progressive on many issues. FOH.

If in the face of all of this you still chose to do anything but vote for her knowing very well what was on the other side then you are a dumbass. I'm not compromising with you.

You can not accept it all you want but reality ain't bending itself backwards to accommodate your open contempt for people who probably saw no way out but through.

But go ahead, keep blaming the people who, when presented with a Sentient Human Anus and Hillary, decided that anything was better than Hillary.

What's eight years anyway?
