Ugh, I will keep blaming them, thanks. Why wouldn't I? Especially since I suspect many of them have underlying isms that contributed to their decision. They can fuck off.

It happened with Brexit. It happened in the US and it will happen anywhere else the left is seen looking down on those in need or who have concerns of the nature your isms would cover.
The left needs to see this, understand this, put on thier big person pants and work towards this not happening again in three and a bit year's time.

Above all other things, Ryan and McConnell want to save their own asses. The fact that they are spineless ninnys can work both ways here. You put enough pressure on them and they will be amongst the first rats off the ship.
Most of the GOP wants to be rich, powerful and ignored. Trump helps with the first two, but severely threatens the last one. The GOP assumes all of this will die down and they can return back to normal in time for the midterms. It's up to all of us to make sure that doesn't happen. We all need to constantly tie everything Trump does to them.

I don't understand what's the point of this mess. I mean..you could have established the ban without it affecting people who already way on their way or people who have green cards/visas. Just not accept anyone new. The result would be Trump voters being just as happy without the mess that's happening now.

He lacks or has not exposed the data showing what his "new rule" is accomplishing or he's trying to imply that people can see the difference based on whether they "see" less "Muslims" or not - He cannot seriously be openly implying that can he? If racial profiling is unconstitutional then and the general populace cannot simply "see" another persons country of origin then isn't the implication that they "see" a persons ethnicity or "implied" religious beliefs. Sorry for the scare quotes but this is some really fucked up thought process that this orange shit is forcing me to go through.

Blaming anyone at this point is stupid when that energy could be directed towards strengthening the Democratic Party's bid for 18/20. But this is, in fact, a representative democracy and that the electorate ultimately gave power to Donald Trump is a factual observation. By learning what they tried and failed at one can short cut the situation with trump. One thing is very clear, the pre election campaign of trump isn't different than the whitehouse. He does NOT intend to heal divisions he intends to keep triggering liberals with destructive things it's the fuel he has to have to maintain his power and grow it. Ideally he can get a mob of students to fight police to break the law, after telling his people the media are not on their side, they will just listen to him, and the very clever and educated opposition will fill the role of the bad guy who is stuffing up America.
I hope it isn't going to work like this I hope his base isn't big enough to feel like a majority. Chavez had the majority of the popular vote in his hand from the start, I think. Trump has to grow his base from 38% to be a populist.
