A new nomination process will be a clown show and imperil Trump's legislative calendar even more. Haley would pass easily but it's a poisoned chalice for anyone with a modicum of authority.
Remember when we were mad about Tillerson's nomination? We were so young and naive then. Tillerson is (relatively) a "good guy". The next SoS will be worse.
Tillerson has no business being the Secretary of State, but being CEO of an actual giant company like Exxon-Mobil for 10 years usually means that there's at least some intelligence and overall competency there.
God help us, the two most competent/intelligent-seeming members of the original Trump cabinet are an oil company CEO and a guy whose nickname is "Mad Dog".
I do hope he fires him so that the GOP crumbles. But who am I kidding, I wouldn't be surprised if they still kiss Trumps butt after He constantly shits on the others
Definitely not a Trump voter, but I think you raise a good point.
What will be interesting is if it gets to a point in which these positions are not attractive to a lot of people. I mean who wants to give up a decent gig to work for a thin-skinned buffoon who is likely to lash out and blame cabinet members regularly?
