An election observer observer. I like that.Maybe i should hang around with my Obama shirt on and my 9mm open carry handing out lit too. wonder how the alt right would react to that.

Wishful thinking, but it would be nice if seeing things like this could further galvanize people into voting against Trump, maybe even convince some of the non-deplorable supporters that they were backing the wrong horse after all.
I'll be voting at a local elementary school on Tuesday.
Q.Who can I report intimidation to?
A.
You can report intimidation to:
The Election Protection Hotline: 1-866-OUR-VOTE or 1-888-VE-Y-VOTA (en Español)
The U.S. Department of Justice Voting Rights Hotline: 800-253-3931; TTY line 877-267-8971
Local and state officials, including poll workers; your county clerk, elections commissioner, elections supervisor; or your state board of elections.
Its unfortunate, but I dont expect the next week to go by without some kind of violence from Trump supporters & it will probably be directed at minorities.
You'll be fine.
Ashburn is close to Fairfax, more specifically Herndon and Reston. Its a very nice place overall. I lived in northern Virginia for 27 years (from birth until 27), first Arlington (until 20) and then Herndon (until 27), and its a lovely place. Yeah there are some idiots but what place doesn't have it?
Honestly, fear the traffic. And for the love of GOD do not try and drive through Tyson's Corner during the hours of like 2 pm to 8 pm.
Brown said her office contacted the local Republican Party, which got the man to agree to pull his Trump shirt over the weapon so people couldnt see it.
You and I have very different definitions of lovely, ha, I have never liked NoVa. Aunt has lived in Fairfax since the 60's, Brother in law lives in Sterling now, but lived in both Reston and Herndon. I was asked to relocate to Front Royal, which at the time was considered the sticks to NoVa and politely declined. It is all built up down there now.
I think I am biased too heavily to Central Va. Sorry just where you are from I guess.
But to the greater point, VA was a heavy read state for a long long time and there are still many folks upset by that and wish it wasn't turning blue as it has been for the greater part of the last 12 years or so.
Va has become a state that a lot of folks from the north east relocate to and it has definitely changed the political climate over time.
Newsflash: The cops are OK with this. Don't get yourself killed fucking with armed thugs. Your family won't see justice.
Remember when Fox News was freaking out over "Obama's Black Panthers" doing this at polling stations a few years back?
Newsflash: The cops are OK with White men doing this.
Things being legal doesn't mean they're okay.
I am expecting to see a lot of this on election day.
If I see it personally, I'm calling the cops.
Luckily Trumpsters can't pull that off in Norfolk, Clinton signs everywhere. Plus we tend to vote overly Democratic anyway. It was 72% - 26% Obama in 2008 and 2012
Can probably do it in Chesapeake... Trump signs everywhere, and Virginia Beach disappoints me every election

I didn't say anything about the legality of it.
Cops being OK with it doesn't mean it's legal.
The article also says he had a Trump shirt on, was passing out republican pamphlets, and asking people if they were voting for "crooked hillary" -- how is that not against this provision:
"During the times the polls are open and ballots are being counted, it shall be unlawful for any person (i) to loiter or congregate within 40
feet of any entrance of any polling place; (ii) within such distance to give, tender, or exhibit any ballot, ticket, or other campaign material
to any person or to solicit or in any manner attempt to influence any person in casting his vote; or (iii) to hinder or delay a qualified
voter in entering or leaving a polling place. (Va. Code Ann. § 24.2-604(A))"
Because the polls aren't technically open even though people can submit their absentee votes?
Heh yep. Just moved to Norfolk but all my damn neighbors are for Trump. A lot of Clinton signs though outside of this neighborhood.
Vote early if you can, folks. There's still time left. Don't be out there in that crazy shit on the 8th.
Seriously...what the fuck at the cops being cool with this?
OP says he wasn't within 40 ft of the entrance.
He white?
A black guy there would've been shot "in self defense" a long time ago.
Seriously...what the fuck at the cops being cool with this?
The cops are all Trump supporters. You shouldn't be surprised.

It's interesting but I see way less Trump signs compared to Romney 4 years ago. Hardly any Hillary signs in VA Beach.
I am a big manMeanwhile running through the gunman's head: "I'magoodguywithagunI'magoodguywithagunI'magoodguywithagunI'magoodguywithagunI'magoodguywithagun"
I had to explain to my 9-year-old why a man with a 357 magnum is standing outside the polling station
The police wants Trump to make America great again, like once upon a time when they were still allowed to bomb whole black neighbourhoods to the ground instead of having to hunt them down one by one.The cops are all Trump supporters. You shouldn't be surprised.
