Well, I can see a scenario where they make no forward progress for an extended amount of time. People will get bored and leave, allowing a smaller group of people to get past the difficult sections.
Unless viewers (and thus ad revenue/subs) takes a quick or permanent drop, I don't see the creator intervening.
Combination of Twitch broadcasting delay + the parsing delay.

Ahh ok, that makes sense. I caught it for the first time earlier and I was in stitches, couldn't see how they ever managed to beat any of the gym leaders.
