I only occasionally watch the stream to see where you guys are at, but can someone explain to me why the sound randomly gets really bad? I never noticed that when I tuned into Red and Crystal Version, but it happens every time I watch Emerald.

I think it's possible to beat the Elite 4 but Wingull has got to go and the non M4 pokemon have to be high leveled

They can do it without using wingull at all. They just need to power level vileplume and hopefully the others as well. They beat the Elite 4 in Gen 2 with only 5 Pokemon.

Yes, but there's a big difference here. Our party is much worse this time, we only have 3+ days instead of a gratuitous 7 days, and there's a lot to do after the E4. In Crystal there was nothing to do after Red, unless if we decided to go fight Lugia.

It gets confusing though, as many people have tied to reconcile the 3 major themes: Cabbage the White, A and the effects of no religion=immorality+her serial killer side, and the police theme M4 and birdcop brought about

Nope. Azumarill stats are focused on being bulky, meaning it has great HP, decent defense and poor attack stats. Even at level 99, Azumarill has problems sweeping since the only move that can OHKO right out of the gate, Surf, is resisted by half of the E4 and the champion, while the rest of her attacks are varying degrees of suck. With no way to recover between matches, she gets worn down by enemy attacks.
