He hasn't damaged the U.S. The ugliness has always been there. Ask any minority. Ask any black child who questions his mom as to why he is hated because of his skin color. Ask any immigrants in a predominantly white neighborhood. Ask any muslim living in fear of being shot just because they are praying. Drumpf just gave the vile deplorables a louder voice and brought the ugliness to the forefront. The racism and hate was always there. All Drumpf did was give them a reason.

If you don't think hate crimes have been on the rise because of Trump, then you really haven't been paying attention to this election, sorry. He incites violence at his rallies before. Saying he wish he could punch them in the face, and they would leave on stretchers like the good ol' days.

Just look at these clowns. How can we expect them to have our backs on election day?

And that judge had the fucking nerves to come at Kaepernick saying his protest is dumb when shit like this is exactly what he is talking about.

Thankfully. He is losing like every state he needs to win. But he still has brought out this ugly side of America, which I don't think is going to go away even when he loses. We should be talking about that. He has damaged the US already.
True. History teaches us that these movements do not stop after losing, they get stronger. The reason is in their roots: discontent and a feeling of impotence, both will grow in the mind of Trump supporters after Clinton gets elected.

If you want to stand, clearly armed, in front of a political office, by god, that's your right.

Just don't be a black kid minding your own business though

I'm not sure if that's true, just because of changing demographics and our two party system.

I really feel like this was the sort of "last breath" of the deplorables. They fail here, it's kind of end game for them. I'm not going to pretend the sentiment goes away because lol. But, I think their chance of getting actual power does go away.

You completely missed the point of my post. You said Drumpf has damaged America, and I am asserting that the ugliness has always been there. The damage was there long before he came to power. Drumpf simply emboldens the racist shits. No where did I insinuate anything about hate crimes or whatever point you were trying to make.

Reminds me of Crimea where pro-russia paramilitary units "helped" with the referendum (only for safety concerns ofc).

God I hope nothing major happens on election day, the level of dangerous stupidity is escalating too quickly for me.

Stay safe on election day US-GAF...

Is there a chance that this affect the election results? I mean if enough trump supporters and officer of the law suppress those minorities from voting?

This is sad this has to be said all due to an orange fucking bastard inciting the psychopaths because Trump can't dare believe he will lose.

Obviously it could potentially, which is why I remind those that can to check when early voting starts in your area out if possible, send in an absentee ballot..

Fuck these people..

I'm thinking about voting early to circumvent this sort of shit on election day.

Exactly..

Like you said, Trump has made the bigotry that has always been here acceptable enough for people to openly admit to it, but that's exactly why it's damaging to the country. He gave it a newfound sense of legitimacy, and it's going to take a long time to put that genie back in its bottle.

Some politician was eventually going to take advantage of it anyway. It's been obvious where the Republican Party was heading since 08. They were boiling this rage for 8 years and whether it was Trump now or someone in 2020, eventually the deplorables would be incited by someone to bring this bigotry into the open.

It's actually better that this bigotry coming to the forefront is tied so closely with someone as repugnant and indefensible as Trump. It makes these people look even worse.

Fuck putting that genie back in the bottle. The racism should be out in the open for all to see and scrutinize. We should destroy that genie. I'm glad Drumpf embolden these racists pieces of of shits so we know who we are dealing with.

There's only going to be more of this going forward. Voting day is going to be a complete shit show. Just you watch.

Where i live i fully expect two rednecks with bats standing outside tge building...and thats in jersey, but the part that thinks they live in the south. Fake southern accents and everything

This. All of this shit needs to be exposed for the world to see what we're dealing with.

Exactly. There's no need to pretend that racism and sexism isn't prevalent in America. Something others knew for ever can now not be debated as false.
Unless you are Kelleyanne Conway or another Trump croonie

This should be one thing going on the news as a hot topic, I feel that most of the population are not aware of this.

"I'm just trying to provide a voice for someone who might be closet supporters of Trump. Other people that are a little worried to speak out because of possible persecution," he said.
The irony of being worried about people being persecuted while supporting trump

I can't

I just fucking can't

Racists shouldn't feel like their bigotry is mainstream like they do now because that just makes them feel like they have more support, and that makes them more bold, more dangerous, and more difficult to stop. If anything, Trump's blatantly racist bullshit is going to make the Republican party's slightly more subtle tactics appealing by comparison. People like Rubio and Pence are going to be held up as reasonable or moderate when they're not even close.

Increased scrutiny is good, I just don't see it as enough of a good thing to make up for the rest of the problems that a resurgence in open racism brings. If Trump's candidacy ends up being the fever that rids America of the Republican party and gives us a less racist party as a replacement (or, heaven forbid, the Republican party actually reforms this time), I would say it's a net positive overall. Until that happens, I can't see it as anything other than being mostly bad for the country.

It's going to be bad because of his coward supporters. Don't let them scare you. Go vote. If they threaten you, call 911 and move on. People like this are too stupid to waist time trying to talk to.

I don't think I've ever felt fear like I have this year. Even with a Hillary win all but confirmed, there's a sense of dread hovering over me as Nov. 8 gets closer.

Seriously, me too. I haven't felt like this when Obama was elected the first time nor the second time. But now, I feel anxious about this election, because of assholes like those two armed protestors. Trump has riled up and encouraged the most heinous and terrible of scumbags to intimidate voters at booths this November and with that other thread of the FBI stopping a militia from blowing up a apartment building, I'm now really worried about what might happen now with hillbilly bumblefucks mucking about and causing trouble because the orange bastard told them to cause trouble.

And you know what, I was right. This election is going to be one for the record books. But now I realize that it will be for all the wrong reasons. What the fucking hell, man.

Hail to the KING baby
I know this might not help much, but keep in mind most of these people take cues from the original Bundy protesters and the many memes they spawned. Which is to say walking right up to the line their white privilege will allow (which is way too far, granted) but not actually doing anything other than gross attempts at intimidation. It's unfortunate but just ignore everyone and you will be fine.

WHAT THE FUCK AT THIS QUOTE

“If she’s in office, I hope we can start a coup. She should be in prison or shot. That’s how I feel about it,” Dan Bowman, a 50-year-old contractor, said of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee. “We’re going to have a revolution and take them out of office if that’s what it takes. There’s going to be a lot of bloodshed. But that’s what it’s going to take. . . . I would do whatever I can for my country.”

does this legally count as a threat??

Yes, and if the FBI hears of this, they'll be paying him a visit.
