WorriedCitizen said:You still find the best items by grinding. Then you break up all the other loot into pieces and use them to improve your favourite gear even further. Some of the stuff that you find is already improved to some degree.
What you also can do is take out the crystals from a boss weapon if you don't like it and put them on your favourite weapon instead. Or you can melt multiple crytals to form even more powerful ones.
:lol Totally forgot about that one.EviLore said:
I am having a hard time telling if it is leveled with you or not. Maybe I am not far enough in the game, or I set my enchantments wrong. But I have indeed found a baddie who wiped the floor with me.AllIsOneIsNone said:Sounds awesome, thanks! How does the enemy lvling work? Please tell me its not broken like Oblivion's.
If the European Previews, and the pirates are to be believed. It is surprisingly close to the PC max version in many ways.GDJustin said:Very very shocked at these impressions. TW2 condidate for most-improved sequel of all time?
I wonder how the 360 version is...
I very much doubt it. Simple wildlife like Warthogs and Cheetahs have killed me :lolAllIsOneIsNone said:Sounds awesome, thanks! How does the enemy lvling work? Please tell me its not broken like Oblivion's.

wat?FlyinJ said:So doing a balanced character is a bad idea, eh? I've been pretty much balancing myself equally on all fronts. I have found that magic is totally useless going this route though. I'm still on the first island, and none of my spells (air, freeze or fire) do squat to ants. They do a bit more damage to those goblin things though.
Also, how can you tell if a mob is "blinded" by that special sword ability?
Most of the thread already answers all this in various ways but as for animation.Mr_Brit said:How are the production values in this game? I need them to be high or I know I'll switch off, is this the kind of game where you need to forgive the janky animation, translation problems, graphical issues etc to have a good time or not?
Is everyone voiced, proper tutorials, good controls, performance problems? etc... and anything else you can think of.
LegendofJoe said:I just started reading the Fire and Ice series so I'm craving a good fantasy RPG. I was thinking of going with Gothic 4 or Dragon Age, is this better?
DennisK4 said:I very much doubt it. Simple wildlife like Warthogs and Cheetahs have killed me :lol
Also, I have encountered enemies so strong I had to use stealth and assassinate them rather than a straight fight.
And, I have entered caves where the enemies are basically impossible to beat at my current level.
Presco said:Wow, this looks incredible. I haven't been this hyped for a game I knew absolutely nothing about a week ago since Metro 2033. Shame that it's not out in NA till January. My laptop has a 4670...sufficient? Might just go 360.

What difficulty are you on?WanderingWind said:Man, this game is HARD. The starting island has things that will destroy you in one hit. I'm afraid to go outside of the town I just found myself in. :lol
Oh, and the dice game is broke as hell. Easily exploitable.
Randy said:So much choice in this game. When you choose to kill the woman on top of the lighthouse, she drops a crazy magical "Eye" which can be used inifinite times to do some air recon. It's awesome!
Amneisac said:$62USD! Yowza, I'll wait until January. Now I know what so much of the rest of the world must feel like. Poor Aussies.

I am playing on hard and I have to use the old 'fire arrow then run away - rinse and repeat' trick on some enemes :lol
Assassination is worth it for the tougher enemies like Varns that you meet in the Savannah.
Have anybody recovered the Runestone from the cave with the Necris? They slaughter me in one blow
WanderingWind said:Ignore Gothic 4. It's more or less garbage. Dragon Age is a personal favorite of mine and is closer to Martin than this is. This is Morrowind 2010.
FlyinJ said:$62 USD? Mine was 48.99.
Amneisac said:Hmm, on that link from the OP it says: 44.95 Euros, which is like $62USD, right?
Retail for me on a PC game is still $49.99USD. I don't buy that Activision jank.
FlyinJ said:Oh, it may be if you get it from a European site. On Gamersgate it's 29.99 pounds:

I would say they are quite impressive for a game of this scale.Mr_Brit said:How are the production values in this game? Amneisac said:Ok, so using the German proxy from the OP and the link http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/all?q=two+worlds+II you can get it for about $13USD cheaper.
Thanks! More general Gamersgate question. How is this going to work if I ever need to redownload this again? Since I'm buying it from the US through a German Proxy off a British site?

An 8800 should be fine. I am getting great framerates with just a 4870. I would imagine an 8800 could hit 30FPS with ease @ 720PInstro said:Looks really, really impressive. Sadly my 8800gt only just meets system requirements so I guess Ill be passing on it for now.
