Ubisoft apologises for unauthorised use of flag in Assassin’s Creed Shadows art

As reported by Siliconera, the flag in question belongs to the Sekigahara Teppo-tai (or Sekigahara gun group) infantryman re-enactment group.

It featured in two pieces of concept art for Assassin's Creed Shadows, and also appears in the physical artbook included with the collector's edition of the game.

"The art in question will not be used or distributed any further beyond this date, except for being included in the artbook in the Collector's Edition,"

Ubisoft Japan said in a post on X.

"We deeply apologise for this matter."

The most entertaining part of RE5 was after all that uproar over Black people being portrayed as mindless and violent mobs, you find out that literally every fucking major villain in the story was of European descent. And they were basically enslaving them. :messenger_grinning_smiling:
