Hated it at first, but now I really really like it. I play every day, and especially after learning that 3 of my friends that don't play ANYTHING except sports/racing on their PS4s got it.

Sucks that it's so hard to convince them to try other games though.

Same with the Division and a ton of Ubi's games in general. Going by GAF solely you'd believe that literally all of Ubi's games flop.

Survival mode is great, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those players returned just for that if this is true. Hopefully they base the sequel around it, it's far more interesting than the bullet sponge loot shooter mode.

I am guilty of going back this past month on The Division, and the loot system is wayyyy better than it was initially. The game is better now. If any of you gave up on it before, i suggest you give it a shot once more.

No, its not. The game is still in beta state. Servers are complete trash, there is a lot of balance issues in this game plus, many bugs, lags.

This thread is actually kinda making me want to jump into the game tonight/tomorrow for the first time. I picked the base game up cheap a couple months ago but decided to wait until the new patches settled in and any existing bugs got squashed before checking it out.

So, judging by these numbers its a good time to play the Division...seems to have maybe had a resurgence a la R6 Siege...what say you GAF? Do I need to buy the DLC to enjoy myself (cuz that ain't happenin until I can get it at least 50% off)...?

No you do not need the DLC. There is so much to do in the game without it. This is definitely a good time to jump in. The daliy and weekly challenges add a lot to the game, plus all the HVT missions and search and destroy are fun to do. The added new armor and weapons above orange as well. It has been fun for me trying to get a complete named set.
