Let me add a thing about forspoken.
Frey actress is a supermodel. She is gorgeous. And in game model is perfect. She is not masculine at all. And has a fun straight to the point ny teen character.
And so what? It didn’t help at all. People still attack her and the game for being woke trash and it’s absolutely none of those things. Not even sbi included.
They cast supermodel in a game and people behave all the same.
Man I am so sad that game got ignored and straight hated by everyone and memes on twitter. I genuinely think it’s one of better games that year

I didn't knew her so googled, there wasn't a single photo of her looking like a 'trucker' all steroids beefy. She has a nice feminine figure.

She isn't ugly and if someone says she is, he/she is lucky enough to not have seen what ugly can really mean
But aside from that, her in-game character model got the same treatment as Aloy from Horizon, because when you see her mocap actress, either something is lost in the digital transition or the devs rough the characters up to make them look worse
When I saw the trailer I honestly thought it was a grown up version of the Asian they/them kid from TLOU2

This is the issue for me.
Everyone can argue whether or not they like her appearance/attitude or not. Some people hate it, others like it, most don't care.
For me though, it's the intentions behind this character. She was created based on a certain political agenda. That's the only reason she exists the way she exists. If this game was made 15 years ago, she would not look like that because that's not an artistic vision look. And that applies to the majority of the games that have similar looking characters.
That alone for me is unacceptable. Even if i didn't care about how she looks it just bothers me that it's nothing but an activist developer trying to push an agenda and prove something to the "chuds".
Some can ignore it, other's cant but nobody can argue this is not the case.
I really agree with this sentiment and people should be more straightforward instead of dancing around their real opinions.
I'm one of the people who hold the opinion that she isn't attractive(at all), but I also recognize that what I find attractive isn't universal and my preference is probably a culturally influenced one. Just like how a lot of east Asian women find androgynous or extremely effeminate men attractive, it shouldn't surprise that in coastal America that androgynous females could end up in vogue for any number of reasons and become a genuine preference for some men.

Bald and no makeup. They could have avoided 80% of this with those alone. And it's more likely than not they knew that. Very stubborn as it could be a harmless concession. The character could simply like having a little makeup.

The makeup vs no makeup and hair vs no hair conversations will be what they will be and I don't care too much about that.
My issue was more with the people trying to bend reality and state that they changed her face. There are countless examples of her face in live action, at different focal lengths, with different levels of makeup and no makeup(even acne no less), with different close up styles.
It should be clear to anyone with eyes that it is Tati Gabrielle, but the bad actors here and elsewhere are trying to say otherwise, because they are too afraid to say that they think that she is ugly. It would be 100% more respectable for them to not bullshit around and just say that they think she doesn't look good, rather than attempting to bend reality itself because they're too afraid to simply say one line.

Abby levels in TLOU2 were the best ones. Especially that apartment where you descend floor by floor and get the flamethrower, then fight the boss in the hospital basement. Shit was incredibly tense. I am a coomer but if the game is fun I will play as the ugliest motherfucker there is.
