That's really weird. I ordered Lucina just the other day and it seemed to get dispatched with no message saying there's an issue.Actual pre-orders from a couple of months back when they first went up :/

Nintendo store got back to me about my Robin order and basically said nothing can be done and said it was my paypal account that was at fault. Bullshit considering I've bought other things this week using my account with no issue. Its obviously something with their system. I'll possibly try phoning If they're still open when I get home but might not be.

That is really awful, my nephew ordered Lucina from them on Monday and Ness yesterday, both have arrived this morning.
Shocking that they are fulfilling orders placed this week and cancelling original preorders!

What country are you in?So this just happened... No pre-order, no reservation. Just walked into a Toys r' US and they had 2 Ness, 2 Robin, 2 Lucina, 2 Pacman, 3 Charizard and a ton of Wario.
Bought one of each except for Ness (for trade) and Charizard (for a friend)

It was THEIR error, so IMO they still need to make that up to you. I hate their whole attitude over this. They fucked up. They took your money. They told you your product had been dispatched, but somehow they're just able to cancel it all and leave you without? Fuck. That.

It's worth noting Nintendo UK's Store are owned/ran by Zavvi, so they're hardly great either.
You don't really have much choice annoyingly. Amazon is probably the best, but they get put up randomly, and they ship internationally so good luck getting an order in.

I'm entirely unsurprised Shopto messed up the pre-orders, Makes me feel kinda bad I got a Lucina out of the mess up. They've been going down hill for a long time. I remember back when the PS4 pre-orders were happening they messed around a lot. Charging dearer prices on some of the bundles, but due to the console being sold out you didn't have much choice but to accept it. Offering the Mega Pack to people who had pre-ordered later, and some of the people who pre-ordered early got diddly squat.
I can't see them.

At first I thought it was Nintendo being surprised by demand, but this wave is the first that had production begin this year, so after knowledge of demand from December sales I would have thought they'd have adapted.
