One of the Milibands (Ed i think)

Both labour and libdems firmly committed to electoral reform

Really? Since when?

Labour have been trailing other methods in places like Wales. It was bound to happen at some stage...

I apologize if this is really naive but I haven't had time to follow any of the coverage, and I'm quite busy at the moment.

Is Cameron likely going to be the next PM?

"Gerry Adams, leader of Sinn Fein, tells Sky News that the defeat of the DUP's Peter Robinson is a "shock", but Sinn Fein's vote is "strong". Mr Adams says they won't change their policy about not taking their seats in Westminster, even if there's a hung parliament, adding that he wants more powers transferred to Stormont."

No surprises there then.

I don't even know why people stand against Labour in Glasgow.
I didn't get even a single leaflet here from any party except Labour (Glasgow North East). No campaigning, nothing. No one really does, the other parties just stand candidates as a formality. :lol

The way we're going, it's likely. A hung parliament is still a possibility though. It's still undecided at this point I'd say.

Too early to tell - strange results all over the place and no clear consistent swing

Lab hold Renfrewshire East, one of the few Tory target seats in Scotland.

Could they end up without a single seat in Scotland?

There's a protest planned for Leicester square on Saturday at 2pm for Political reform. It's been planned for a while now so please turn up.

When I lived in Anniesland I got leaflets from everyone, but that part of Glasgow will never ever not vote a Labour guy. Their respect for Donald Dewar still gets paid forward.

I'm in money saving mode right now, but if the Tories get no seats in Scotland then I'll be celebrating tonight.

I'm sorry to come off sounding dickish, but its kind of funny hearing all this doom and gloom over the fact the England will have a government that is somewhat more conservative than the one they currently have, and more but not insanely more conservative than the LibDems. It's just really odd from an American Poltical viewpoint and I don't even mean the Conservative is better for the US stuff, I just mean from any American poltical viewpoint.

I mean I can't even imagine what it would be to get the shock of from Bill Clinton to George W. Bush or Jimmy Carter to Ronald Reagan. Hell, is there even anything in the UK that politically compares tothe Republican Party (and don't just say the BNP to be a smartass...bah go for it if you want).

I heard on the grapevine that Eastbourne was hotly contested. Its just down the road and people were saying LD were pushing hard there.
