Gordon Brown is on the right for this first debate because of his eyesight. His right side is his strongest.

Brown sounds strong, addressing whole room too - not just the camera.

agreed. dude comes off like a statesman, the other two (especially cameron) a little more like used car salesmen from initial impression.

Cameron scored incredibly high on the ITV live polling there.

And there isn't supposed to be any live audience shots. Stop fucking up ITV.

What's with the line scrolling across the screen? Is it like the US debates on CNN, where they have a select group of people and it records how they think of the speaker currently?

I keep imagining a room of people that are like puppies :lol like like like immigrant? dislike dislike dislike!

This is far too rigidly structured for my liking. It's just like a press conference - no real debate, unfortunately.

Its only just started, give it time, they'll increase the sly digs at each other as the night goes on - its happening now!

Wonder what they're writing down while the others are speaking:

"That Brown is a tit."
"Who the fuck is Clegg?"

Wake up Sheeple, your boring insistence that Obama is not a lizardman from Atlantis is wearing on my patience 💤
Brown butting in :lol go on Gordon!

Actually agree with the Lib Dem immigration ideas, I'm all for the 'Point System' ala Canada/Australia. Cameron was an idiot by not knowing how it would work.

When Brown is talking Cameron goes for him. Brown goes for Cameron too. Clegg is being treated as the reasonable third and almost a moderator in himself.

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.

Yeah as soon as CAmeron questioned it i thought
"Well a permit would have the region on it?"

It's starting to get more like a debate now, the start was far too rigid indeed.

I've been to Plymouth
I've been to Crosby

He gets around. Don't agree on the 'not enough police' line, well at least where I live there's loads, at the least community officers. Agree that the punishments aren't hard enough, though not sure how Conservatives will fund putting everyone in Jail - THATS MORE PUBLIC SPENDING!

Sadly, not too keen on Lib Dems soft approach on crime.

BROWN AGREES WITH CLEGG. YOU DON'T AGREE WITH YOUR OPPONENT. DUMBASS.

I think Brown's concern is simply getting the Conservatives out of sight - if that means agreeing with the Lib Dems, so be it.

Parent responsibility. Not sure if want. Actually, go on then.
Parental responsibility? Why can't I see that working...

Also, Clegg really doesn't want us to forget he's from Sheffield.

I was so waiting for Cameron to drop a clanger and say:

"If you look at where all the crimes happen, all the car crimes, it comes from ... the black community."
