They all seem as bad as each other in this one, unless one of them pulls out some soundbite line they can use tomorrow, they just look like a bunch of squabbling turkeys.

When asked a question like that, I think back to what Obama said he though when he was asked the same type of question from Tom Brokaw during the Democratic Primary debates: What do you want me to say, Tom. I turned off a couple lights up in my house?

Last I checked the UK's rail network was a fucking joke. Bring back BR!

Agreed. I mean its not as bad as America's, which is only bad due to freights having right of way. But its over priced and outdated.

Shitty answers to a shitty question really. Not much more they can say. Climate change is a serious issue but this is a poor way to ask about it.

Also all this 'get real' stuff is getting cringeworthy.

would be nice, but the questions here are being asked by members of the public, not journalists, so i'd imagine they are afraid of appearing insulting.

Oh no no no, Obama didn't say that, he would have gotten destroyed. It came out after the election that he was bitching about how dumb the question was after the debate.

"Yes, we're investing in that, the _HYBRID CAR_ (from the future you know, it flies)" holy shit, he was impressed with himself over that one. Probably thinks its the Delorian or something.

The Lisbon Treaty had nothing to do with Climate Change! It was a treaty to streamline and replace all the other ones made over the course of 50 or so years. IT WAS NOT A CLIMATE CHANGE TREATY!

Clegg coming across as a bit more cocky (arrogant) this week. Outputting his hand as to say shut up and butting in a bit to hard. Think the headlines have went to his head.
