What? You stated that we had already paid for them - a complete fabrication. Clegg's replacement strategy would cost more than sustaining our already paid for and fully operational aircraft.

You are quite familiar with fabrications what with your staggering Reaganomics hard-on.

Let me make it clear. I don't GIVE A FUCK about fighter aircraft or fucking Trident. Why the fuck are we spending money on that shit.

I think it's pretty presumptuous to believe we can or are the minder of the most powerful state on the planet. We wern't the minder on Iraq, or Afghanistan, and we were roundly ignored at Copenhagen. As was demonstrated by posters in this thread, the US doesn't give a fuck about us unless we do as we're told. This is why I in fact welcome the eventual birth of the Euro-superstate and the EU as a true superpower.

We were though its minder - and really if we have to join anyone I would rather the UK become a part of an UK, USA, Mexico, Canada superstate. Rather than Europe where we are culturally different - whilst the Atlantic Superstate are culturally similiar.

Cause if we're nuked and we're all dead, we can nuke them back so everyone is dead!

Man, if you've seen the Americans attitude to healthcare or listen to the show 'Americana' on Radio 4 and iPlayer, you'll see that we're not as similar as people would have you believe. WE speak the same language...there's plenty of differences.

Well HEY! Yours did! Remember when the United States wasn't so UNITED? :D

I really wish I could find that screencap from the Simpsons episode were Apu has to take the citizenship test, were it has on the front of the testing center. it says 150 Years Since Last Civil War like one of those workplace injury signs. Gah that would work perfectly.

At least my hard on was based on evidence and practical theory.

Lib Dems want to scrap Trident and replace it with refurbished land based nuclear missiles - a program that's going to cost a fucking bomb (excuse the pun). They want to replace aircraft that don't need replacing - more cost. Plus they want to set up another "independent body" to regulate weaponry - more cost. Lib Dems are tax tax tax, spend spend spend.

Oh yeah I forgot. Because it's not left wing, it's not correct. Hate to break it to you, but Reagan was a hugely popular president. You basically saying that all those supporters were completely deluded?

No economist worth their salt believes in that shit. Reagan supporters....do you KNOW who those people are?

Might want to ask some of our American friends here.

What the fuck? Visit the US, then visit a European country. Don't just focus on the language the people speak.

Not this shit again. You know this is ridiculed by any qualified economist right?

About the Clegg stories in this mornings papers.

Update 1939: I now learn that political reporters from the Tory-backing papers were called in one by one to discuss how Team Cameron would deal with "Cleggmania" and to be offered Tory HQ's favourite titbits about the Lib Dems - much of which appears in today's papers.

The key personal allegation about payments from donors into Nick Clegg's personal bank account came, however, from the Telegraph's expenses files. Incidentally, the party has now published details of Nick Clegg's bank statements and party accounts showing that Mr Clegg received payments totalling £19,690 from three businessmen (Neil Sherlock, Michael Young, Ian Wright) and then paid staff costs of £20,437.30 out of the same account. According to these figures, Mr Clegg actually paid £747.30 out of his own money towards staff costs.

Over 50% of the voting population of the 80s election. The people who, y'know, vote for their favourite candidate. You're just a liberalist in denial.
I didn't know 50% of the US population in the 80s had a masters in Economics. Damn, that really was the golden era wasn't it?

What's amusing is that he truly, madly, deeply believes in the conviction of his beliefs. To that all I can say is all the best to him. Can't fault him for it. He is completely wrong when presented with the reality of today but what can you do.

First question time on Question Time: "Was David Cameron's Nick Clegg impression good enough to win the debate?" :lol

And of course Hague quotes the one pro-Cameron poll.

Please remember the NHS was created in 1948 after we had just been through a world war, and had a socialism revolution in Britain. If the NHS was created now, plenty of people would be kicking up a fuss though.

No question that people would be kicking up a fuss now, the UK has its share of idiots too.

Yes, he paid £747 of his own money toward that staff members wage. Everything was declared, and now he's released his bank statements to support the fact that it all went toward wages.

Given that you're only argument is "look at all those people who liked him", you're not doing your position any favours. It's a fallacious argument. I can think of a dozen mass murders who had popular support.

Yep. He's that fucking awesome.

What an awful smear by the Torygraph, and of course the way they are receiving instructions from the cameron campaign is shady as hell.
