Mmm, does not work when all of the proxy sites I've tried have been banned... bloody NHS security. HOW DO I GET PAST IT?

So glad things are going swimmingly for you Mush and hope your trip to the land of Scot(ch) was good? Download totally exhausted me; between the 9 hours of driving there and back, endless mud slides and rocking my wellies off for the day. Would have loved to stay Sunday for Down and Black Sabbath but alas!

Skindred, Killswitch and Metallica all blew my mind but The D, Steel Panther and Soil were all on good form.

I miss the metal-head community already... work is no fun after a crazy week off

Hilarious and I was super pleased they opened with 'Kelbasa' - one of my favourites. They did a good mix of older stuff, popular songs and stuff from 'Rise', the banter was good. Closed with 'Fuck her Gently' - an obvious crowd pleaser.

The onstage 'pheonix' was a bit dubious (will try to remember to upload a pic when I get home from work). As an aside; a lot of boobage was flashed by the crowd during the set so yeah... win-win!

Enjoy tonight! Any idea who's supporting?

Oh, thanks for the link ;) I'll have a look into that. My main annoyance with it is ALL of the main gaming news sites are banned under the 'games' category. I mean, that to me is like blocking the Metro site... Thankfully I still have Gaf between 9-5 Mon-Fri! For now.

Thanks dudette. Yeah Land of Scot was totally freakin awesome, had a wicked time. Glad you enjoyed Download, I had some mates who had an awful time, and some who had a good time. Skindred always do it for me, I drunkenly accosted Benji in a club once blabbing on to him about hanging out in Newport in my youth!

This is very true. Even now I am slightly paranoid - are they watching me? What if they pull up a log and see how many times I refresh my subs, or that I posted in that porn thread?? Trouble is, my new job is a lot slower than my old one (way more money too :p) and so I'm finding myself with an awful lot of downtime. Work always takes 100% priority of course, but the rest of the time I'm on GAF. I hope I can get away with it!

I am really looking forward to this movie. I heard some of the soundtrack the other day, love me some Jim Guthrie, that guy has become the Indie Gamer's muso for sure.

Well I certainly hope it's better than that Brony documentary. I thought it was going to be bad but that managed to beat my expectations. It was horrifying.

Just buy an IPAD and do all your browsing on that.
