^I saw them live a few years ago. They were really good.

Chris Moyles announced that he's stepping down from the Radio 1 breakfast show in September.

Not that I listen to the radio now, but this news makes me immensely happy.

He's a good presenter, his show runs smoothly enough and the strings are well hidden. He's occassionally witty and clever, and always able to think and act and create within seconds, so he's undoubtedly talented compared to the other clapping goons Radio 1 have filling their daytime slots.

However, his team are a bunch of snotty sycophants with the collective personality of a wooden desk. The show without them would be much better, but obviously not as whacky, or crazy, or whatever they're going for in the mornings. Moyles is also too old for the age he pretends to cater for, but that's the case for all of the BBC really.

I never really heard much on Chris Moyles as I hardly ever listened to Radio one. Sounds like a good thing I didn't.

So what's UK gafs favourite British films here, if they've got to pick five that stand out for them.

1: From Russia with love
2: Children of men
3: Lawrence of Arabia.
4: 28 days later
5: The ipcress file

Those are five films I can easily think of that I can watch over and over again in my life time without a doubt.

Radio 1 has been dead to me since Mark & Lard lost their 2-4 slot.

Top 5 Brit films? Hmmmm....

1, A Clockwork Orange, easily.
2, Life Of Brian
3, When The Wind Blows (animated short film)

4 & 5 will come to me later.

When keepin it real goes wrong. Very, very wrong.
Trainspotting, Casino Royale and Children of Men.

My dad loves Zulu. I have no idea how many times he's seen it but whenever its on he just sits back and stares at that TV screen all day. I've only seen bits and pieces of it.

In other news, Chumbawamba are no more.

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.
I'm not gonna try to make a top 5 because I'd just keep constantly changing my mind.

But The Italian Job would be in there.

You guys go fishing for British Jr's and get them back to this thread.

Il need to go out and earn a quick buck today (8 hour shift) off tomorrow and friday though with a possible nightshift Saturday night (Il count that as being off Saturday and Sunday too)

Are they still alive? I remember listening to them when I was filing for work experience when I was a kid, and they played William Orbit's Strange Cargo, on Radio 1. That wouldn't fly in this day.

My mum wants a new phone and has been looking at budget smart phones. She's narrowed it down to HTC Desire C or Samsung Galaxy Ace. Any idea which is the better phone?
