I just want to say that solo XF-less Strider comebacks are euphoric.
On another note entirely, playing Dante on anchor has helped improve my point Dante just a bit surprisingly enough. Playing him solo with no backup means I gotta be a bit more ballsy if I want to get a hit, and that translates into a slightly more ballsy point Dante.
Agreed with both points. Picking your spots and playing your game efficiently like a true ninja while showing someone thinking "Strider can't work without XFactor" is blissful especially when you run it back 1 vs. 3.
I'm still labbing attack patterns to keep my Dante in to make up for not playing people as much lately (I want to make a Wolverine style "stay on you and poke you with s.Ls - dash ups" Dante now) and in doing as much, I'm also finding it easier on my execution to do certain patterns like j.H - s.L + Vajra - shenanigans. You would be so surprised how hard that sequence was to emulate consistently for me after playing Darksim a while ago.
