Looked at the first image... I couldnt believe the ice buildup to the left. Incredibly vivid... it really is amazing that ND has done what they have with 512 mb of memory and an old GPU. The cell really shows its worth here...

Not sure if this was shared already, I took a quick search for it but- Best Buy has a "deal" if you buy Uncharted 2 and the Sony PS3 Headset you get $20 bucks off. Not that bad of a deal for those looking to be social come launch.

I don't think there's any indication you'll get them in-game as of now. Maybe down the line they'll release some DLC packs, but that's the only way I could see it happening. I pre-ordered from BestBuy to get them, because while I think ND has map packs in the future for DLC content, I don't see extra weapon skins being something they focus a whole lot of time on.

The cashier that rung me up was completely dumb founded and asked associates but came up with no answer- this was found on CAG. Give it a try if you're a club member, it's free DLC for two games :lol

I'm gonna open up my PS3 again and try to finish the first Uncharted. I wasn't hyped for this game not one bit. But when I listened to Bombcast yesterday, this became my most wanted game . Brad says Everything in this game is 10x better than the first one. which is good news to me.

Edit: Listening to the soundtrack's samples on iTunes. It's gonna be soooo good.

i mean, it's one component of the larger multiplayer feature. even if it's just campaigns of the nepal size, it's still a pretty good sized multiplayer overall. from the beta/demo, the multiplayer is great (though the coop objective is my least favorite part), quality over quantity is preferred.

Yeah I agree... that's pretty disappointing, but whatever I'm more interested in competitive anyways. I thought the co-op was going to be a mini sort of storyline. Ehh it'll still be worth playing through a handful of times.

I'd imagine that the resources needed to convert more maps into a co-op compatible state didn't fit into the schedule. at least ND knew where to draw the line instead of shoe-horning in half-baked shit for the sake of bullet-points on the back of the box.

There may be a small handful of co-op maps but they are pretty hard. And I'm only playing normal difficulty with my buddies. We still havent completed a co-op level successfully.

Plus there's survival, which has 4 maps I think? I forget. And Gold Rush is 4 maps too I believe.


Survival is pretty damn hard too. Think GoW2 horde mode.

Of my biggest complaints about UC1, the jet-ski sequences rank pretty high up on the list. Besides the aforementioned motion sickness for some people, having to stop the actual vehicle in order to aim and shoot while at the same time moving backward unless you position yourself just so against a wall...just thinking about this stuff again reminds me how absurd and poorly executed those whole sequences were.

I thought they nailed it with the jeep part, where its purely you aiming and blowing stuff up, the driving is handled on rails. That part was painfully easy, but it was also a lot of fun. While I think their intent with the jet-ski was good...giving you a few open areas to use a vehicle in even though that chapter was particularly linear, it just fell really flat and turned from fun into frustrating. It seemed like they needed to invest a bit more time vetting the development of that chapter and the play mechanics of the jet-ski than they did in the final product.

I noticed that in credits for multiplayer character VA, there were two names I hadn't seen before and who as far as I know, aren't in the single player game. One of them is Rika Raja, presumably a relative of Eddy (sister?). I'm on my second playthrough and I just spent sometime taking a good look at Nathan's journal and noticed 'Rika R.' is listed in the section that's presumably dedicated to Nathan's various girlfriends over the past years. It's clear from their first meeting in Drake's Fortune that Eddy and Nathan have some history together and Rika is likely a part of it. The other character name in the credits was Daniel Pinkerton. I have no idea who that is. I also have no idea how to unlock any of these multiplayer skins (including the Drake's Fortune characters) since none of them appear in the multiplayer store. I know PSN codes were given out for Navarro during Comic-Con, but I have no idea about any of the other characters who don't appear in the multiplayer store.

I'm more interested in the survival mode than the co-op. With how dynamic the combat is, I think that this could be a huuuuuuuge time sink.
