If WW3 happens during Hillary's term, can the #Imwithher crowd be drafted first?

i don't see why people make a big deal of someone voting trump here. if the voter themselves think whatever candidate will do them best go for it, thats the whole point of voting, vote for whoever you think will improve your life.

Trump wouldn't be improving anyone's life unless you are white and straight, while making the rest of us miserable.

They think Trump will improve their lives by making others worse.

Alucard is Batista. Haitch & Flair are Trump/Pence.

Because Trump's entire campaign is built around damaging the lives of citizens because of their race/religion.

This isn't a political disagreement.

My ballot:

In the end I couldn't pull the trigger on Trump. While he's someone who I really wanted to vote for on an emotional level, you have to realize that he simply isn't a true believer, just another GOP snake oil salesman, only more bombastic and less intelligent. I am glad he ran, and I hope his movement continues to grow and eventually pushes the Grover Norquist chamber of commerce types out of the party. This time it was free trade, in four years it might be regressive taxation, or lax financial regulation, or labor rights. When the day comes that the base fully awakens and forces the party to move beyond trickle down and hostility to labor, I’ll be ready to support them, but until then I’ll continue to begrudgingly vote for Democrats.

(And yes, I totally broke state law by taking this photo)

As a habitual PoliGAF lurker, this has me legit shook (in a good way).

The person they think will improve their lives will worsen the lives of millions of other people and put this country back into the dark ages via the supreme court. Sorry but fuck em.

I was driving west on the I-10 in Phoenix, AZ and saw a huge billboard that said:

"VOTE NO MURO, NO TRUMP"

which is

VOTE NO WALL, NO TRUMP

Sadly, I didn't get a picture as I was driving and didn't want to crash.

I am really interested to see what the total Latino voter turnout is going to be, especially in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

Minorities will save this country from itself yet again.

It's just like everywhere and with everyone else. They're free to vote for whomever they wish, and others are free to critisize them for that. It just seems more extreme on GAF cause it's pretty liberal as far as Internet message boards go, and Trump is pretty extreme historically speaking.

In and out in 6 minutes 13 seconds. Showed driver's license, but the poll workers made sure to emphasize that was just to expedite the sign in process, I just had to scan it and their computer looked me up. About 2 minutes of that was filling out the ballot, already knew pretty much how I was going to vote on everything. Didn't write in Merrick Garland for US Senate even though I wanted to.

Even though Iowa is one of the no-ballot-selfie states, they had a selfie station set up where you could take a selfie with your sticker and a "Your Vote Matters" background.

(Not from the selfie station.)

Nah, I'm not selfish, so I vote for whoever is best for the job and who will improve the country as a whole.

I have never voted for someone thinking they would improve my life.

Voted here in Oklahoma. First time in awhile I didn't hear much political talk in line. Trump will carry this state easily, but it seems like a lot of the people in line weren't as fired up about it as they were for Romney or McCain. Or maybe just embarrassed.

My election hopes rest on some state legislature seats and state questions.

If someone thinks Trump will improve their life I don't like them.

Also, first Glenn Beck says Black Lives Matter, now Alucard votes near straight-ticket Dem. Its happening fam

lmao, this is incredible!

Haha whoa, I didn't expect to see a picture of a Johnson County ballot on Neogaf. IC18 represent. Yes or no on Public Measure C?

(and thanks for voting)

Yes on Measure C and Yes to retain all judges.

I am legit shook.

Even voted for Democrats in down ballot. Shiiieeet.

I always vote down-ballot for Dems. its only at the national level that I have become hesitant in recent years.

Wow, Alucard.

I've given you shit for a few months, and now I'm genuinely moved. Thank you.

(and I laughed at your Harkin write-in)

Patty Judge is terrible and would not have come within 15% of Grassley anyways. And while I dislike Chuck from a policy perspective, I do like him personally and would rather see him retire rather than get booted out. (unless it was a Harkin comeback that was doing the booting) Plus he had one of the funniest ads this election!

Really the entire Iowa Democratic Party sans-Loebsack is awful. When Bruce "I think its a great idea to insult farmers and the most popular politician in the state" Braley is your supposed rising star, that by itself speaks to how weak it is.

Missouri here. I'm having a bit of an issue and wanted to see if anyone had any ideas.

I went to vote (+1 Hillary/Kander) and when they scanned my ID they said I wasn't registered. I know I am registered as I just voted in the primaries so I looked it up online at "http://s1.sos.mo.gov/elections/voterlookup/" and it says I'm registered but "there may be an issue with your registration." They had me fill out a provisional ballot, but I can't get through to the number on the website [(314) 615-1800] to find out/correct whatever the problem is. It's either a busy signal or I get on hold for ~10 minutes and then I get a disconnected to a busy signal. Any thoughts?

Was Alucard in it for the long-troll, or did he just turn heel?

I can believe him. I had stated on here I wouldn't vote in the national election, just vote (D) down ballot for my state and local offices.

But once early voting started, I had really got my fill of Trump and cast my Hillary vote because I felt the need to do what was right. People's opinions change.

Trump will improve no one's life, and make a lot of others worse. If you vote for a dude that will actively take rights away from minorities and make their lifes hell, you're a piece of shit and will be called out on it. That's how it goes.

so silly question, but i moved to Missouri recently and still haven't gotten a new Missouri driver's license meaning i couldn't register to vote in Missouri. i'm still registered in Kansas though and still have a valid Kansas license. can i vote in Kansas or is that some kind of voter fraud?
