Poor Jaime, even Loras is giving him sick burns. I guess it beats getting your hand chopped off and drinking piss like in the last season.

Great episode, they captured that moment brilliantly. The No Book Spoiler thread is great, so many theories and none correct lol

I haven't seen the episode but that looks horrifying! I can't wait to watch it, and looking atthe non-books spoilers thread no one suspect Olena, their reaction when they know she and Littlefinger were the ones who did it will be glorious

I need a gif of that entire vision, I don't remember the Dragon portions of his vision in the book only the part with Ned.

Yeah, just like in the House of the Undying they hint at stuff that GRRM didn't, but they know will happen in the story.

Oh yeah, the other cool part about the episode was Bran's vision. I'm pretty sure that was Brandon Stark watching his father being burned alive, didn't they film it in season 1? No wonder we were never shown, if they still plan on using the scene at some point.

Also since it's been established that Brans visions can see the future...book spoilers with the shadow of the dragon over kings landing

Could it have also been way in the past though too? That's likely not the implication from the image, but still.

Good episode in any event, even beyond the Wedding.

I hope that they're setting up Stannis to get his act together this season and quite being Melisandre's lapdog. His constant scowling kind of maybe hinted at him maybe being fed up with Mel/Selyse's act, especially if they start getting on Shireen's case. I'd actually be pretty impressed with the writers if they end up doing that, but I'm doubtful.

I am wondering what they're doing with Shae? My guess is that she's not actually gone but rather Bronn got paid off by Tywin and now Shae maybe stays off screen until the trial and her being uncovered in the Tower of the Hand at the end. Unless of course they want to diverge more from the books.

Bran connecting to the Weirwood internet was cool too. I doubt they'll do much with flashbacks but the coming of TreeBran and Bloodraven gives them the perfect opportunity to flesh out the backstory stuff with Robert's Rebellion, if they want.

I wonder what they're doing with Locke going to the Wall too. In the books, Roose does not know Bran and Rickon are alive, correct? Surely Locke won't go beyond the Wall looking for Bran, right? Just not sure what they're doing with that at this point.

I thought it looked like Ned when he was being kept in the dungeons.

Those Unsullied where discussing who should be the Regent now. One suggested Rickon, another one "Marjory".

Those people, mayn.

The only disappointment I have with this episode is it appears as if they are going to suggest the Bronn betrayed Tyrion. I don't like that.
